I think there's plenty of mileage in this transfer yet.
It's stalled for the moment, but who knows what will happen.

This is known as FFS syndrome.
It affects those fans who do not like players until they play elsewhere, whereupon they become the perfect fit for our team. It can affect the opinion of potential signings, or players of the club who leave for a new team.
It was most eloquently demonstrated with successive replacements for Riyad Mahrez deemed as not fit to lace his boots despite relentless criticism of the player while he was here.
There is no cure and those affected cannot contain their symptoms.
Imagine signing a contract with a release clause that's confidential. I'd be getting a new agent/advisor if I was him.Sami Mokbel was on Monday Night Club with Chappers and he said MGW had a release clause in his contract that was confidential.
Spurs then offered this and Forest are furious and are taking legal action cos no-one knew, except those connected to the player, about the clause, apparently.
Chappers said he had so many questions but thought he might be in trouble...
Ssshhhhh!Imagine signing a contract with a release clause that's confidential. I'd be getting a new agent/advisor if I was him.
That's what Chappers was inferring, I think.Imagine signing a contract with a release clause that's confidential. I'd be getting a new agent/advisor if I was him.
Or maybe it’s what they thought he is worth? That's what Chappers was inferring, I think.
He did actually ask, 'what's the point of a release clause?'
I think Forest's argument is/was, that question should/could have been asked at board level, but Spurs went straight in with a bid, that suggests they knew the amount.
That would be a very sly and Levy thing to do. The man is an utter shit! Be fucking hilarious if we came in and took him from under his slimy big dishonest nose. That's what Chappers was inferring, I think.

Too true. I was absolutely appalled at the arrogance of how he wanted/ thinks Spuds will win the PL when the new manager was announced. Just who the fkeck does he think he is??? Absolute shyster imo, ceo of a club punching above their weight to be playing with the big boys. Two trophies in 17 years, I mean come on.It's fucking fantastic that the tables have been turned on Levy and Spurs.
That **** Levy has caused City lots of trouble, as well as stopping Kane from joining City.
I mean if they offered the amount of 60m flat they can’t really say it was a guess. RCs don’t have add ons typically but normal deals doSurely Spurs can just say they guessed and it can’t be disproved?
Hope Forest stand their ground though, fuck Levy
Now that his release clause is public, is there any obstacle to any other club activating it?
was it their first bid? If not then it’s possibleI mean if they offered the amount of 60m flat they can’t really say it was a guess. RCs don’t have add ons typically but normal deals do

It’s an agent’s job to tout his player, should that player want to move. That's what Chappers was inferring, I think.
