I'll take it.Just a few runs out
I'll take it.
It hasn’t been over all match, not that you’d guess that reading on here ;)It ain’t over yet
Shush.until we lose tomorrow
Imagine if we'd got another 50-75 runs. You'd still have to fancy India. But a quick wicket or 4 in the morning, and you never know. Not often you see Lords bouncing like that at a test match! I know I’m being greedy but I would’ve liked to see them 5 down tonight. I’d have taken that score at the start of India’s innings though.
Archer, you can understand, but Woakes i dont get it ??
Well now, this is interesting. England have got a sniff, but I still think it's in India's hands. Rahul still there, Pant to come in. They could steer them home. The morning session is key.
Anyway, as usual, and at the risk of boringly repeating myself — there is nothing, but absolutely nothing, as absorbing as a test match that goes to the fifth day with both sides not giving an inch, and the result still in the balance.
(And incidentally, I'd maintain that view over any other sport, speaking purely for myself. Yes, even footie. The complexities of a sport that has matches played over five days — weather, pitch, players, and other variables — are byzantine. I've tried explaining that fascination to Americans and the French. Can't be done. They just don't get it).
