Whether Pedro was 'hurt' or not, Enrique lost it and there's no excuse for raising his hand in anger to an opposition player.

Grubby tournament it may well be (typical yank overkill), but Chelsea lit up the final with an excellent tactical performance that would have graced any tournament. Enrique just embarrassed himself and his club.

Most likely act very respectfully, like a gentleman, as should anyone meeting someone who they don't know personally.

To do otherwise would be juvenile, pathetic, and disrespectful. If you actually think that Pep Guardiola would stoop that low, it says everything about you that we ever need to know.

So glad we didn't win this after seeing Trump make the trophy lift all about himself (as usual).

We're not short of a few quid, best to get a couple of weeks extra rest.

Pep knows Trump well enough from his words & deeds, as do most folk, me included. So if as an ambassador of MCFC Pep formally shook DT's hand for a moment I reckon he'd be thinking "you nasty piece of work" to himself.

As would lots of grown-ups.

It is about performance in the premier competition in the confederation, and goes on points for winning games, and competition points for progress, if you don't win the CL.

It isn't even based of Uefa coefficient, so Chelsea winning the Conference League last year got them nowt.
 
I think qualification depends on CL performance actually. if you win it like PSG this year you qualify but if no English sides wins next 3x CL seasons, then the two highest rated English will qualify for example how it happened with Germany where Bayern or Dortmund havent won CL in 2021, 2022,2023, 2024 but those two clubs were highest rated German clubs based on their CL results.
I dont think EL or Conference matters its very much an elitist ranking with only CL performance included. club like Man United basically have no chance this way hahaha...

as 24/25 is the first season that is checked we currently behind Arsenal, Villa, Liverpool in this ranking given we didnt even make last 16
if we dont make some deep CL runs while Arse and Liverpool does or just enough to stay ahead of us we wont be in the next CWC.

or Pep can just win one of next 3 CLs and then its sorted.

having said that Infantiono can easily change the format in 4 years time, much of it depends if he can get the Saudis again to back it again at this level financially. there was some odd Saudi bankrolling of DAZN that made the prizes so high in the end, without that the European mega clubs would have not given a shit to it to this extent like if the prizes are what the old CWC were which we won and got something like 5m USD total. now we got 40m GBP for beating Wydad, Al Ain, Juventus and losing to Al hilal.

Only if they finish in the top 12 overall or higher if there is an anomaly that one of the CL winners finishes outside the top 12, and in theory the top 8 is needed as it stands.
 
well i guess psg didnt demolish chelsea after all. maybe they wont win the next 3 champions league's titles like some have suggested...the recency bias and hot takes are off the charts nowadays

They get nothing like the shit we get from the media and have took the piss with FFP, in their laborious attempts to nobble us by Masters and his cronies these have assembled a YOUNG superb squad under their very noses with a 27m fine by UEFA so far paid for by winning the CWC.
FFP my fuckin arse, depends who the club is, the only positive it's not a cartel club!

We are pressing even more sometimes.

That was one of our problems last season and vs Al Hilal: intense pressing, failing to convert our superiority in goals, getting tired and then punished.

I'm sure Pep needs to pay attention what is needed to win stuff. His last trophy was 5 years ago.
