I thought he'd already signed for Newcastle, seems they're trying to reduce the upfront payment so perhaps Livramento is still on if they're sailing that close to the wind?

I think it was shown they needed to sell to invest a decent amount for PSR? They aren’t about to fail but can’t find ways to increase their turnover enough to really compete financially with us, the vermin etc.

Ederson seems to be more erratic (which we all do) when there is talk about his future? I know he said he is staying but behind the scenes maybe he’s told the club he won’t sign a new contract and the club aren’t interested in letting him leave on a free?
I think its the other way around. Club is not interested in renewing his contract. Its the similar case scenario with Stones, Ortega, Kanji, Ake, Bernardo, (even Gundogen), Kovacic,

If Ed can sort his head out then there's no better keeper in the world suited to us. Would be great to find a keeper that is willing to have a year under Ederson and learn from him that will eventually take over from him next season.

Don't think you can learn what he has,you can improve but you can either do it or can't.

I think we would sell if the right deal came in to be honest.
For me too. I've never been that enamoured with him. Yes he did brill in the CL final, but he's not a good shot stopper, and whilst he takes a mean penalty saving them is not one of his strengths.....understatement!! His distribution, has also become erratic, so I'd wish him a fond farewell, all the best and thanks, but time to move on.

He was great when our defence was stronger and he could ping balls about and help us keep possession, but now he's had to face more pressure recently his shot stopping ability has been exposed a bit. He's still capable of great saves of course but he does let some soft ones in. Overall he's been great for us but I think his time here is almost done. I'm not sure who would fit as a replacement though.
