Bayern have a 100 million hole burning in their pocket after every winger rejection and Wirtz going to Liverpool that they are deciding to spend atleast 70 million on Diaz who is 29 in a month.

That would be exceptional business for Liverpool and may open the bid for Isak.

Don’t we have any players we can offload to the German rags?

Agreed he has to try and get both in but the only way I see that is with 2 defensive fullbacks or at least 1 foden marmoush and halland have to play as they guarantee goals and cherki will be key provider for me maybe something along these lines.

433 with wide fullbacks can have cherki as RW and Foden RCM.

Or 4231 with wide fullbacks as well with Cherki as the CAM and Foden RW (or swap them).

Can also play both with just 1 wide fullback and 1 wide winger.

It's quiet in work so we all had a chat about football, Villa, Wolves, Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle fans and me.
The general consensus from them all is that our squad depth is shit compared to what it used to be and that our transfer business lately is shockingly bad ha.
Not one of them thinks we'll win the title next season

Doesn’t mean anything here mate . Silva will play most games as he is captain and kova will play a few but tbh he was good last season .

I think Eddie maybe up for the Turkey move after the shit not only he got from some City fans but also his Mrs? Gundo should go there as he always said he wanted to play in Turkey before he retired and we should let him go on a free to free up squad space and wages.

Seems now that Napoli were negotiating for Ederson last week as well so a new goalkeeper is highly likely this summer it seems. Napoli seem interested in our players, the KDB effect? Maybe Stones ends up there as KDB loves and rates him?

But when you do look at the squad say from 3 years ago it just doesn’t feel right? Unfortunately now though there is no patience from players and agents make it worse? Remember the days we had Silva, De Bruyne feeding goal scoring wingers in Sterling and Sane who also set up Aguero and we had Jesus as a back up but also could play instead of Sergio as well? Savio for me isn’t strong enough for the premier league and doesn’t offer enough end product and I don’t see that changing unfortunately so I’d look for a new winger. We aren’t getting shut of Bernardo either are we? We’ve not kicked on from the treble season and are not spending a fortune on the hopefully next generation of top players but is Pep the manager to trust them?

You say that, but when you actually look at our squad compared to say the treble season or previous, it’s not as good. That’s one of the main reasons why we were poor last season. Players such as Rodri, KDB and stones are almost impossible to replace.

I’d argue our signings probably since Haaland haven’t been as good.

All the players you have just mentioned, apart from KDB, who wasn't rated by a lot of ex players, were all critised on Bluemoon, especially Rodders and Stones. Give these players a chance before judging them.

I don’t think it is harsh. Players like Doku, savinho and others aren’t as good as the previous players we had in my opinion. Fair - haaland is at one end of that rating.

Maybe a few more years and they will develop, but I’m not seeing it as quickly as I did with others. Player for player I don’t think we are as good
