PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

What does Sheikh Mansour say, he surely must know something with all his powerful connections.
He says he doesn't/we don't know the verdict yet.

He can't be this man of absolute turth and integrity we say he is, when he claims we are innocent. And also a stone faced liar, when he says we don't know the outcome yet.

Anyone watch the South Stand show today on YT?

The host alledges from a message from his contact in the club, reason for the delay is down to this.

City have been cleared of everything, other than a non-cooperationwhich will result in City getting a huge fine + 3 points deducted.

City not happy and want full exonoration, or something where they get statements from all PL clubs stating they believe City to be not guilty (silly i know)
Firstly there won’t be a point deduction for non cooperation
Secondly and most substantial to dismissing the South Stand show claim is that IF found guilty then the punishment will not be considered until after the announcement of the verdict, it will involve a second tribunal to determine the level of punishment

It's objectively wrong.

You cannot receive a sporting sanction (points deduction) for non-cooperation.
When everton and forest were given their punishments, didn't one of them get an 8 point fine and it was said that it would have been 6 if they had cooperated?

Why would we if Khaldon is adamant we are completely innocent and he basically said we won’t be taken for mugs again.
Could be wrong, of course, but given what’s at stake here, I think we would take a fine on some of the lesser charges if that drew a line under the whole matter. I think some people are setting themselves up for disappointment if they’re expecting full, complete exoneration on all charges and no sanctions whatsoever.

Think that Khaldoon said we “took a pinch” once we won’t be doing it again
Yes that’s it I couldn’t think of the exact quote. So why would we take “a pinch” if he’s adamant we are completely innocent we’ve already taken two pinches one off uefa and one off cas

Think that Khaldoon said we “took a pinch” once we won’t be doing it again
Think that was around 2014 and UEFA finding us millions in a fine and a smaller CL squad,we accepted it…..think the fine was reduced because we met all the criteria UEFA asked for.

We are guilty of being successful.
If we are winning nothing uefa, Masters and the red mardarses would be doing absolutely nothing to come after us.
The press would still be anti city, them bellends wouldn't change but I've said this all along that it is an attempt to knock us off the top and smear our name.

Tough shit that they can't find nothing on us and Khaldoon is correct saying we won't take a pinch or be blamed to take the attention away from how poor other clubs are run.

And Khaldoon was right. How many clubs have been exposed for running like a shit sandwich!

Trust the man. Believe the man. When he says we haven't done anything wrong, we havent done anything wrong. These guys aren't amateurs, these guys are big fuckin players in the business world.

The club are in no way going to accept a points deduction - regardless of how small - for non-compliance when/if we are proven innocent on all counts and when it was up to the Premier League and their lawyers themselves to PROVE we were potentially guilty.

If I get suspected of fraud but get found innocent, I am pretty sure I aint' doing 3 months inside because I refused to cooperate.

Yes that’s it I couldn’t think of the exact quote. So why would we take “a pinch” if he’s adamant we are completely innocent we’ve already taken two pinches one off uefa and one off cas
He’s hardly going to come out and claim anything other than total innocence publicly, but he’s a pragmatic businessman and will act in the best interests of the club. If that meant taking a relatively small financial hit again on a lesser charge to end this, I personally think we would. A sporting sanction, like a significant points deduction, would obviously be contested.

Also any decison on whether to sue anyone is a matter for City and would not be connected to any sanction. In any case very few clubs have actually said anything defamatory in public. (I can only think of Klopp). All the comments have been behind close doors briefings. Any legal actions for defamation would be against the publishers (not the person who leaked). That said it wouldn't surprise me if there has been some horse-trading behind the scenes between City and the PL, even in advance of any public decision. Everyone will be jockeying for position in the ensuing comms battle.
