Oasis reunion

I went last night.
I'm not a liar.
I'm not a bullshitter.
I'm not saying this just because Noel and Liam are Mancs and City fans.
It was fucking amazing last night.
Liam smashed it.
Noel sounded superb.
They atmosphere was amazing.
Everyone joining in with the songs.
Got talking to people from Bristol and Sheffield. We ended up buying each other pints.
No trouble
Everyone got on.
Old and new City shirts every wear.
The organization, travel, stewards, bar service, even the toilets were superb.
For those of you going on Saturday and on Sunday, you'll fucking love it.
Can’t argue with any of that. The organisation compared to other gigs at Heaton Park was bang on, excellent all round.

The Polefield Road shout was very helpful thanks to whoever shared that information. Ordered the cab for half 11, sat in the park and waited for the big crowds to disperse while we had a joint then ambled to the Best One on Polefield Rd and got picked up outside there. Back in Cheadle by midnight. Great night.

As you say.
All video’s are appreciated.
But no phone video’s, including mine, do any of the vocals, songs or atmosphere justice.

They really don't do they. Complete euphoria being in the crowd the sound system is absolutely on point. If I'd just seen the videos I'd think it was pretty average lol.

I like the Verse to your song. Where are you putting the chorus?

;-)

Brilliant night!

Hand on heart the best gig I have ever been to.

A wonderful lack of knobheads around, a great atmosphere and the sound/production was first class.

Anyone with GA tickets for the weekend - North gate get there reasonably early and you’ll likely get a wristband putting you in front standing. We got there about 1:30pm and got them.

£15 from a Hawker on Market Street. Lol!
The colour matches my City shirt.
Not paying £40 for one from the Addidas store on Market Street.
The store was packed.

That's exactly how I felt on Saturday. It felt like a festival atmosphere. Those posters claiming we'd wasted our money to stand in a field listening to a past it band having piss thrown over us are conspicuous by their absence on this thread.

I am so fucking buzzing for Saturday mate, feel like a proper kid at Christmas

Where do you Mancy Mancs recommended for us to go drinking wise in Manchester when we get there 4/5ish on Saturday

We tend to drink from the river Irwell. It's not as clean 4/5ish Saturdays, but not as bad as Sundays.
Alcohol wise...I've not got a clue as I haven't touched a drop since Wednesday 2008. I'd suggest the usual Sinclair's at Shambles Square... although, i'd guess at it will be hammered (hammered, mate.. ;)

Yeah.

The sound system and massive speakers were excellent.

I also thought the videos on the video screens were great.

One thing that I could fault, but I don't want to as there''s probably a valid reason for it, was the silence in-between some of the songs. That killed that atmosphere a bit. I would have rather Liam or Noel talked to the crowd whilst instruments were being changed or whatever was going on. I was too far from the stage to see. Again, it's not a criticism, it's just a minor detail I picked upon last night.
