General transfer rumours

Ok
Sancho, Madueke are already gone. Mudryk is banned. Felix is on the verge of sealing a move back to Benfica. Nkunku is also going to leave this summer. That's 5 players from last season who will be moved on this summer or in Mudryk's case, banned until we hear more.

To replace them, we've brought in Gittens, Estevao, and now seemingly Xavi Simons.

Obviously I get that outgoings don't garner as many headlines as signings, unless we're selling for big money. But it's worth mentioning so people don't just call something nuts whilst missing important context :)

Ok Chelsea’s player turnover is nuts :)

Why does everybody know better than Pep ? Why the hell does the club pay that guy so much, we must be mental!

Yes, last season was well off the standards we set and yes there was a lot of contributing factors but wow it’s amazing all the answers are on this one thread alone !

Swap the machine of a goal scorer for a decent goal scorer, not a bad shout - too many goals might look a bit flashy and bring our global profile down a bit on X

Or better still, just don’t have the machine goal scorer in and around the box, let him drift out left, out right - just tell him to go wherever needed and become a creative force, forget scoring and he will score even more …….lets not give up our day jobs just yet hey ?

In Pep some of us trust ;)

Looking at the ins from all premier league clubs, considering we are having a rebuild and a huge summer of change our number of 3 first team players arriving is one of the lowest out of all clubs. I dont include Bentinelli or Nypan. Obviously still loads of time but we could do with shifting a lot of players quickly or we will end up like chelsea last summer and have a bomb squad of expensive players sat around twiddling their thumbs.

What really does my head in is that every transfer Liverpool or the rags make is accompanied with a headline like ' why so and so could become a rag/dipper legend, bargain of the summer etc etc. They're never questioned at all, compare that to ours with the ' but City still have the 115 charges hanging over their heads

I know Chelsea sold off their hotels but they now have 14 in's.
Good on em, must be exciting for them, i like there “fuck them all” attitude and selling hotels to themselves and all that nonsense. Much rather that than the overbearing shite from the dippers and the rags. As the CWC proved they will get it right eventually if they keep bringing in players.

rivals not holding back this summer and some other like Barcodes and Spurs havent got going yet while more to come at Arsenal, Chelsea, rags maybe dippers too despite the heavy spend already.

Villa probably more quiet due to ffp issues, probably the worst time to be quiet now as rivals around them all spend and spend...

many teams have some deadwood in their squad, until the PL starts lot of these players ideally will find a move.

Apparently we don’t buy before we sell because Pep doesn’t wanna end up with 10 players staying at home. Hopefully there are some talks next week because there are 4-5 players in the squad who are holding us back

Alexander Isak has not travelled with Newcastle to Singapore for pre-season tour. Newcastle insist it’s not due to transfer reason with the striker still nursing minor thigh injury.

EXCL Total agreement between Lyon and Leeds for Lucas Perri. The goalkeeper is leaving the tour in Germany and flying to England. After medical Perri will signs his contract with Leeds.
