Nah it’s gonna be next summer. Apparently the clause was a gentleman’s agreement where he can leave for £60m if a big club comes calling for him. The forest owner doesn’t see Spurs as that calibre of club

With respect to Forest, MGW would’ve jumped at the chance to go to Spurs IMO.

As @Alexia_Ko suggests, I don’t think it was an actual release clause. A classic. Probably why he’s signed a deal because he’s been fucked over and wants to make sure it’s in writing now.
