That is true. But you seem uneasy about Kelly getting the attention/glory. And I can see your point. Hampton played a blinder in the shootout. But, as long as the result goes the right way, that (for me) is the important thing. Everything else is secondary. I wasn't intentionally having a pop, though I can see how it would come across that way.

I probably focus on it more, and it annoys me more, because I have to put up with my 7 year old daughter watching Chloe Kelly interviews, tik tok dances, highlights 64735199 times a day haha!

I'm not having a go at the women and really chuffed that they've won. Was just wondering why other England teams don't seem to count ?

I guess because senior level is considered the top level

Yes, England women wouldn't beat the school boys but I guess if we thought about it that way, pretty much all women's sport would get no praise.

I guess you have to judge it on its own merit and senior teams will always be considered to count more than junior teams

Like it or not, after the last Euro's, she's the face of the Ladies side. Every era has one; Gazza, Beckham, Bellingham. The media love an idol.
