I've no idea about Sir Wyn. Equally I've no idea about the status of City's case. That said, there comes a point in the process when the relevant people involved, as intelligent as they are, and with their level of experience, should be able to look ahead and make helpful projections with caveats. Maybe they are not yet seeing light at the end of the tunnel, but when they do, I don't think it is an impossibility to provide helpful guidance to key stakeholders. To be clear, I am not asking for detailed timescales. The reality is the process communications have been exceptionally poor. I don't think there will be many saying the 115 case comms have been well handled.

You have to ask what was the reason for him doing this interview and why has he chose to do it now?
Is this to start the ball rolling for the news to come out about the 115?
Seems very odd to just do this out of the blue and to not answer any questions about us.

Last summer, during the European championship, there was absolutely no coverage of the charges. Nothing. Within days of the final, it started again. The cynic in me predicts the (cleared of everything) verdict will be released the week before the season starts. A nice little curtain raiser for the cartel media to increase their click revenue and for the red shirt mob to wave their pitchforks whilst phoning Talksport. Every bitter and twisted rag/dipper/tarquin pundit will be at it. Full on incandescent gammon stylee. It's in the interest of their business model to continue the failed narrative.

If he knew what was going on and knew they'd won he'd be bullish, he'd be confident and it'd roll off his tongue and as the CEO you would expect something from him, some sign that they was confident.

I can't imagine the likes of Mansour, Kahldoon, other senior directors and even Pep would be so patient in waiting for the outcome unless they already know.
My guess is our lawyers have the PL all tied up in knots and their scrambling around looking for a way out, whilst feeling the wrath of the other member clubs who are going to have to foot the bill.

Agree. He either played a shaky straight bat dealing with the 115 question or lapsed into his marketing / corporate script when it was suggested by the bemused American journalist that PSR is outdated . Looks like he is over the pond on a promotion tour , US owners win the trophy , so no surprises there.
Much as I would like to agree, I think we see what we want to see sometimes. He didn't seem any different than when I've seen or heard him at any other time to me.
I still go back to the very beginning, long before any hearing started, when he said something along the lines of he "can't wait to get City in the dock because they'll get what's coming to them" and said something about it being long overdue. Right from that moment onwards it was clear that he had already made his mind up about us, so my concern was if we would ever get a fair hearing.
My opinion now is pretty much summed up by the next comment from Silva61:

Does it get fully wrote up bar the conclusion and the panel re read it all.
Or more likely a decision is decided and then they write it up.
So the panel knows even if no-one else does.
Certainly integrity wise, they have not leaked it to people as either they are solid or we would know.
The writing up is the nightmare scenario as there was so much and people will be looking to discredit it.

I think that's EXACTLY what the situation is.
I reckon Masters thought he was top of the tree, king of one of the most powerful sporting organisations in the world until he came up against City's team and I think it's now dawned on him that there are far more powerful people out there and unfortunately for him, some of those people own City. He thought the PL were bigger than City but didn't realise that City Football Group make his organisation look like a Sunday League committee.
I don’t like the guy nor feel he deserves such a good job.
He certainly does not know the PL has won, which is good.
Does he know we have won, I didn’t get that feeling as he might have back tracked if so.
I think most likely is that no news or they are in some kind of discussions.

They are not even real charges. The PL contrived to make the process as difficult as possible for City at every turn all the while giving toxic briefings to the media. They have never before done this with other clubs. The aim has been to damage City’s reputation from day one. Total bad faith.

The way the announcement is released and managed will be subject to discussion. The fact checking of the statement involves all parties. It is totally different to a criminal trial. The Judges will of course make the decision but they will not just spring it on the PL and City.

It would be interesting to see what the reactions would be whether we win or lose, both from City and rival fans. If we lose, they will obviously think we cheated which is fair enough. But if we win, would they believe the charges were actually complete bollocks or would they say we have paid them off? Similarly with our fans, if we win, then we will know we didn't cheat and take the decision. But if we lose, will our fans accept that we cheated or will we think we have been stitched up? I am very interested to see how these all pan out.
