Rain-dance needed urgently...Lancs set 473 to win

Slightly surprising he still plays red ball cricket.Salt promoted to the top of the order and out 2nd ball, crikey it's not looking good is it
I don't think he's will be for very long based on the last few games. Has he made double digits in the CC this season?Slightly surprising he still plays red ball cricket.
Salt out for 1, 8 in first innings, shitSalt's wickets are getting peppered
Looking for a cricket book on a very particular subject. Anyone know a memoir either by a player or a cricket writer describing life on tour Down Under or in India? Or South Africa. Not so much for what happened on the field of play but about life away from it - the local people, the hotels, food, local "entertainments", etc. Preferably from a time when tours lasted a long time and conditions were a bit rougher before teams got accustomed to luxury travel. Alternatively I'd fancy an account of a season of English county cricket in its heyday (FOC era) or of overseas players' experiences in the Lancashire leagues. Ta.
Not a cat in hells chance of achieving that.Lancs set 473 to win
Only 440 now.Not a cat in hells chance of achieving that.
Attended first two days but given today a miss, may go tomorrow if ……Oh ye of little faith.
Jennings double ton incoming. (Hopefully)
Let's be honest; it wasn't the most difficult run out. 10 yards away, three stumps to aim at, and the batsman not even in the picture.
And gets 2 wickets after bowling some drossCan’t make my mind up about Tongue. He seems to bowl a lot of dross but capable of bowling a jaffa at any given moment.
If everyone is fit, I’d say our best bowling attack is Stokes, Dawson/Rehan/Woakes, Atkinson, Archer and Wood.
