PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I agree.

This is all out war.

We shouldn't be taking any prisoners.
I think the war is won and City hierarchy know this.
There is no evidence throughout the club as this is any different, the evidence is that it's business as usual and some more.
Assuming we are found innocent on all charges, why would there be a charge of non cooperation, Where would we have not cooperated.
Assuming the verdict is innocent then who foots the bill.
That is when the real war would start between the rest of the PL members, I mean which clubs get a legal bill for the costs, especially if it was instigated by the cartel clubs,
I wouldn't be happy if I was chairman of West ham for an example, the fallout could be seizmic.
Not to mention any compensation claim we may have.

there will be indeed issues about these legal fees. this case will easily surpass all the other legal cases that went on in recent years. 3-4 years of investigation, months long hearing, now 9 months period since hearing is over for the panel to work on the decision which can go on for months still...

it already cost PL clubs a lot and there is more to pay for all this, imagine if it gets appealed and takes another 15 months...

the panel will end up billionaires by the end of it.

I'll tell you what would be poetic justice:

Whichever club/clubs are left to foot the legal costs; it ends up pushing them over the profit and sustainability threshold, which leads to them being charged by the premier league.

Talk about adding insult to injury.

That did cross my mind and that's why it will have to be scraped.
The longer it goes on the worse it gets for the pl.

Something isn't right. There is no way the red cartel teams are spending all this money without a tip off that something is happening.
If they knew City were fucked they wouldn't spend half as much.

If they know City have been proven to have done nothing wrong they're at panic stations thinking "FUCK! City are gonna come at us with everything they got! BUY EVERYONE! Strengthen the squad! We must stop another ten years of City dominance!"

There's no need to spend this much if City would no longer be a threat to them following a guilty verdict.

It is too late for any deals. The PL have accused us of false accounting going back 18 years, apparently with little or no evidence. They have spent most of those years knifing us in the back by strategically leaking poisonous comments to their pals in the media. They have tried to destroy our club, to put us out of business. There is no middle ground to be had there.
I so, so hope you are correct mate.

I just increasingly get the feeling something is going on with...

"i've just got a feeling that..."

the amount of times we read this from posters on this thread every day.
some of them, like you, are seemingly very intelligent people.

there's no such thing as just having a feeling.

in all seriousness,
how is it possible to have a feeling about this?
what does that even amount to?

it's not real and it is based entirely on nothing.
it's merely your brain trying to make sense of something you have no control over.

(rant over, soz, haha)

This whole charade started with “I’ve just got a teeling” that City are cooking the books. Now there’s nothing up with conveying feelings when there is no news.

My feeling is Masters pivot to global PR in the face of domestic scrutiny, signals reputation management—not just leadership. Masters is laying groundwork for a graceful exit, fans and stakeholders should be asking harder questions about accountability at the top of the game.

For years PL clubs have been going on tour & never has the CEO attended, never mind given interviews.

You claim because its a prolonged and costly process that they will have to find us guilty of some of the chargeses .Why ?
So, on that reasoning any trial for whatever reason that goes over a certain timescale must mean the defendant is guilty of something.

The tribunal will only find the allegations proven if the necessary evidence has been submitted by the premier league lawyers.

Any punishment will be given by the panel and not the premier league.

My view is we will be judge of the evidence provided by each party and that the final outcome will be published by the panel when they have completed their findings and they wont be rushed by anyone.
Anybody who thinks this or any other tribunal is beyond reproach is an utter fool.

Calumdown by name calumdown by nature.

I love that.

You sound like those people on YouTube who are into Nonduality and advocate that none of this is real. We're all in fact figments of our own imagination and the whole thing is an illusion being played out in pure awareness.

Let's hope we get a positive outcome from these charges and maybe the red cartel will disappear into a puff of smoke.

fair enough,
but your feeling about masters is based on something.
you are seeing something with your own eyes, considering it and forming an opinion on it.
your feeling is not based on nothing.

when we go to a game we can say,
i have a feeling we are going to lose/win today,
an opinion based on things you have recently witnessed.

if your mate says,
i have a feeling my mrs is seeing someone else,
he is basing it on something, not nothing.

in this case there is nothing to base a feeling on.
there are no precedents to this situation.
it is all guesswork, some of it educated, but nonetheless guesswork.

nobody knows what is happening.
having a feeling about what might be happening is not real.

it's not unlikely that masters probably knows his time is up.
the outcome of this situation might well have no bearing on his job.
it could be argued he's fucked whatever the outcome.
