PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Calumdown by name calumdown by nature.

I love that.

You sound like those people on YouTube who are into Nonduality and advocate that none of this is real. We're all in fact figments of our own imagination and the whole thing is an illusion being played out in pure awareness.

Let's hope we get a positive outcome from these charges and maybe the red cartel will disappear into a puff of smoke.
einstein was well clever and he said summat like,
reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.

I'll tell you what would be poetic justice:

Whichever club/clubs are left to foot the legal costs; it ends up pushing them over the profit and sustainability threshold, which leads to them being charged by the premier league.

Talk about adding insult to injury.

I think the PL would just reduce prize money, which I guess would in effect count against PSR?

If so, would that be a reason to drag the result over until after the transfer window, so the reduced prize money would be next season, so clubs might go a little crazy this season?

City will be one of those clubs indirectly, and 19 others.

This whole charade started with “I’ve just got a teeling” that City are cooking the books. Now there’s nothing up with conveying feelings when there is no news.

My feeling is Masters pivot to global PR in the face of domestic scrutiny, signals reputation management—not just leadership. Masters is laying groundwork for a graceful exit, fans and stakeholders should be asking harder questions about accountability at the top of the game.

For years PL clubs have been going on tour & never has the CEO attended, never mind given interviews.

It's the USA Premier League Summer Series promoted by, er, the Premier League :)

The inaugural event was in 2023 and Masters was there for it. There wasn't one in 2024.

Bits and bobs in the media about it because the Premier League lost £5million on it in 2023 and apparently certain non=participating clubs aren't happy because they are set to lose money again this time.

I think the war is won and City hierarchy know this.
There is no evidence throughout the club as this is any different, the evidence is that it's business as usual and some more.
Assuming we are found innocent on all charges, why would there be a charge of non cooperation, Where would we have not cooperated.
Assuming the verdict is innocent then who foots the bill.
That is when the real war would start between the rest of the PL members, I mean which clubs get a legal bill for the costs, especially if it was instigated by the cartel clubs,
I wouldn't be happy if I was chairman of West ham for an example, the fallout could be seizmic.
Not to mention any compensation claim we may have.
Kieran McGuire said that 3 senior figures at none big 6 clubs have expressed unhappiness about having to pay legal fees for the 115 case when they couldn’t care less about the outcome and that they consider it be a fracas between the big clubs that has nothing to do them and the other 14 clubs.
The more those fees go up - at the last count it was circa £2m per club - the more upset the ‘14’ will get. These legal bills will count against PSR for all clubs as well.

I must admit we all live in our own individual timezone with our own present tense recording for history very slightly differently.

What is your take on the saying that first impressions are built up by years of experience?

Sounds like they are making it up as they go along. Did he do any interviews?

Imagine that as a headline from club insiders…. Over to you Delooney.
