We have the cash, we should pay it, we are being outspent by our rivals and a top top right back could be the difference between success and failure this season.I think we tried, but with Newcastle reportedly demanding £80m +, we correctly moved on.
I think had we put £80m.on the table he would be our player.

When you think we dropped 50m each on our fullbacks a decade ish ago, it seems a reasonable priceI agree as he could be with us for 8-10 years, same as Ait Nouri
Dont want to grass but think it may have been Pep…That’s our trouble we never want to Rock the boat . Crazy how we have managed to let slip being the best team in the world . Whoever sanctioned not strengthening last season wants fucking . Massive fuck up which is gonna set us back a couple of years if we can get back to very top .
For the PFA best RB in nthe elague twice and easily the best at the time we bought himWhen you think we dropped 50m each on our fullbacks a decade ish ago, it seems a reasonable price
£80m for Livramento? Wobble your fucking heads lads
Once bitten twice shyWe dropped £100m on Grealish in case you forgot.
We are to polite so will not even try to disturb the situation whereas Liverpool probably think fuck it and go for itMadness how we can’t seem to get a Livramento deal done but Liverpool can prise Isak away
We used to flex our muscles and smash everyone out of the water but then days have long gone but they could come back in a couple of yearsWe have the cash, we should pay it, we are being outspent by our rivals and a top top right back could be the difference between success and failure this season.
Can’t say anything more thenDont want to grass but think it may have been Pep…
Why would it come back in a couple of years? Not that I believe it needs to.We used to flex our muscles and smash everyone out of the water but then days have long gone but they could come back in a couple of years
I think once Pep hits the road the club won’t have a choice but to get the best players as we will no longer have the best manager ever. Why would it come back in a couple of years? Not that I believe it needs to.
I don’t think it will make much difference, we are slowly building a young squad, by the start of the 26/27 season we will have a full young squad Rodri and Dias could easily be the oldest players and only over 30s. Think the expectation when Pep leaves in 2 seasons we would have a squad that’s back to just a couple of signings every summer.I think once Pep hits the road the club won’t have a choice but to get the best players as we will no longer have the best manager ever.
Few players I can think of are worth £80m. However, if that's the going rate for someone with Livramento's attributes, you pay up. Whether he's worth it or not is subjective. Most Blues I know think Livramento is decent but in no way a £80M player. Trust the club to find the solution at the right price. I posted before, i think we can’t find the right player at the moment..
