Tino Livramento

I think we tried, but with Newcastle reportedly demanding £80m +, we correctly moved on.

I think had we put £80m.on the table he would be our player.
We have the cash, we should pay it, we are being outspent by our rivals and a top top right back could be the difference between success and failure this season.

That’s our trouble we never want to Rock the boat . Crazy how we have managed to let slip being the best team in the world . Whoever sanctioned not strengthening last season wants fucking . Massive fuck up which is gonna set us back a couple of years if we can get back to very top .
Dont want to grass but think it may have been Pep…

We used to flex our muscles and smash everyone out of the water but then days have long gone but they could come back in a couple of years

Most Blues I know think Livramento is decent but in no way a £80M player. Trust the club to find the solution at the right price. I posted before, i think we can’t find the right player at the moment..

I think once Pep hits the road the club won’t have a choice but to get the best players as we will no longer have the best manager ever.
I don’t think it will make much difference, we are slowly building a young squad, by the start of the 26/27 season we will have a full young squad Rodri and Dias could easily be the oldest players and only over 30s. Think the expectation when Pep leaves in 2 seasons we would have a squad that’s back to just a couple of signings every summer.
The idea seems to be from those at the top and from Viana get the best young players now, and build the team, pretty much like PSG have built their team without big signings and to a lesser extent barcelona have to surpass Madrid and their big money get the best players policy.

Seemingly made little to no effort to do this move, if hes not that bothered. Fuck him off.

Even if we put 80m on the table, is he even interested in joining?

I think geordie heads would fall off if we actually put an official bid in at this point, with what is going on with Isaks at present!!!!!

Few players I can think of are worth £80m. However, if that's the going rate for someone with Livramento's attributes, you pay up. Whether he's worth it or not is subjective.

We need a specialist right back. The fact he's a a young England international & can play left back too, also adds value. I seriously don't get City's miserly, penny pinching attitude at times.

We panicked & bought Nunes for £53m, but yet we're baulking at £80m for the best young English right back around, who can serve us well for the next 10 years? Our approach to our obvious RB weakness makes zero sense to me. We just need to get it the fuck done imo...
