Rodri gifted us unforgettable 2-3 years, where we had a feeling that our team could beat any opponent and there was no midfield or pressing or tactics in the world that we couldn't cope with.
And plus he was like a solid, unbreakable rock / wall, who was playing every match of the season and leading the team, performing at a same level and being the most stable player in the team during 10-11 months.
And that was something I always dreamed about, cause our other legends always lacked something.
Aguero always had injuries, David Silva and Yaya Toure weren't as influential and decisive in Europe as they were in PL, KDB and Kompany also had a lot of injuries.
Therefore Rodri was the first player who had it all. No injuries, being dominant both in Europe and in PL, leading the team and what's more important, he was the best player in the world playing the most important position in the modern football... There was nothing you could ask for, he was in God Mode, became an icon of perfection and we were / are lucky people to have experienced such a player week in and week out.
I don't know how Rodri's journey continues but I will be always grateful for what he did for this club.
True legend, deserves that statue also, without even any doubt or question.
