That was a one off mental game, we didn't win it because Barton was sent off. He was one of our better players during that time. Obviously a complete bell end of a man though

Whatever you think of him as a person Barton was more than decent for us , I went to most games that season and the one before and genuinely don’t remember him having a bad game don’t get me wrong am not saying he was the greater player ever either but week in week out he tried his best, he was right about Freddie Mercury ,Corradi and Pearce .

I also went to most games, Barton was decent but not as good as he thought he was. This is a guy who admits to kicking teammates in training, if they were a threat to his position. He acted and still acts like Billy big bollocks. I agree with Nedam Onuoha, Barton was just a bully. Onuoha has called out for this, yet Barton hasn't gone after him in the same way as he has with others.
