PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

He who chooses to fight, must first count the cost.

The pl thought City would just lay down and take it. Well the pl were fucking wrong and now all pl clubs will be out of income because of the red cartel.
It amazes me how other clubs have allowed the red cartel to screw them over. Remember Newcastle voted in favour of these rules now these rules are now screwing them !

they thought or told nailed on case once city removed or owner sold up rules would be scraped

Nothing inside about it, just nosed a well-used cuts job around Levy's latest comments.

He really is a charlatan who needs to keep the pot boiling, just to maintain what little reputation he has for getting a steer from the Premier League disgruntled when it's the last knockings.

Mike Keegan has beaten him to every verdict over the last 12 months.
There's been a verdict?

:-)

LOl that anyone would have thought the club would have simply accepted an unprecedented amount of charges that would have likely seen us kicked out of the league, "yea no problem we'll just shuffle off to National League North"!
City are on record stating they are in favour of the rules but simply deny they broke them.

I've an uncle who chucked Holden out of his bar in tennerefe and I was once chucked out of a club in Dublin for having a go at summerbee both of them slagin city fans off a pair of pricks not fit to wear the shirt give me white and Simpson any day

Holden came into a shop I was working in The Arndale while he was at City.

He was wearing a full tweed suit with a Trilby hat and a walking Caine. Imagine wearing that kind of attire in the Arndale in the early 90's....

I don’t think they even considered what they were starting. I think the outfit is so amateur, they hadn’t realised the gravity of their accusations. If they’d have understood then there was only one way it was going to play out & Stefan predicted within the first few days.

I very much doubt that they thought we would just lie down and take it. They will have known we would fight it. Especially given how vocal we were about our innocence in the UEFA case.
I "assume" that they thought they had a good case with at least some chance of winning. What that was based on i don't know. But you don't bring a very expensive case unless you think you have a chance of winning.
That said i think it was a mistake on their part not to get in a room with city and try and thrash it out first.

Used to stand next to this guy regularly in the Kippax in the 60's - right stuck-up twat he was too! Never stopped going on about how we should avenge our latest defeat....

Ziegler complaining how much the PL are paying in legal costs

'Other sources say it is impossible to calculate the actual figure at this stage'.

Good shocking headline, but even He is unwilling to try actually back it.

I imagine the deal was some sort of fine and some sporting sanction which the club the Premier League in no certain terms to fuck off and let someone independent look at the evidence.

They have been that naive in how they run things they have left themselves open to a double pincer attack from the club. The APT case has exposed how incompetent they are running an illegal rule book for over 3 years and allowing other clubs to gain an advantage from that with interest free director loans. The next instalment of that takes place in a few weeks time where it looks like they will be on the hook for compensation.

On what has been established in how the PL works with its vested interests in helping certain clubs and stopping others. The 115 charges is not going to end well for them, out of pocket on legal fees, lots of angry clubs wondering why the money they get from the PL as stakeholders is less than it previously was and then ultimately being exposed for the not fit for purpose organisation they are. It’s shit having to wait for all this but when the 115 findings come out the earthquake it will cause will be biblical.

When I was invited into the players lounge at Coventry City. After the game all the players were there in smart casual dress.... then in walks Kevin Bond in a Deer Stalker hat... stood out like a spare prick at a party.
