I hope you get it sorted mate, by that I mean I REALLY hope you get it sorted :)

To anyone else having problems don't try to sort it wearing your Phil The Face masks it probably wont fly.

Nonsense. Regardless of the conspiracy culture we live in, rule on individuals data are VERY strict. They cannot use your data without informing you prior, if they do then they would be in breach of all sorts of GDPR rules. I'm not saying what you said won't happen in the future, it probably will given self serve checkouts now use your photos, but they can't do it on the snide.

Not wanting to make it easy for companies to farm your data isn't even remotely a conspiracy theory it's a genuinely real concern and EVERYBODY should be concerned.

As for companies not using that data? What are they collecting it for and why are they collecting it? Data "breaches" happen all of the time and all that ever happens is someone says sorry.

U need to add the non ticket holders to friends and family first then add them as non ticket holders. That’s wot threw me. Once u get them registered with email and name just add the to friends and family. Then u need to go to manage under season tickets and add them as non ticket holders if that makes sense
Managed to get 2 on today.
My wife is now a bigger blue than me and the 2nd hand phone will come in handy.

Only other option is to list on the exchange which for me is the prime reason you cant transfer to another season tcket holder.
The club can then make another killing on resale price as individual match ticket rather than selling it as the price as it was as a season ticket. Probably payback for us protesting about match day individual prices last year.

'Fuck em, lets just prevent them from sending tickets to each other because we have had to cop their protests and reduce matchday prices'.....

Proper shit show for everyone this is.

I have TWO season tickets on my phone, but each have different email addresses. Each season I just log into each account on my phone and download each to my Apple wallet. Done this no problem for 4 seasons
I to have 2 season tickets on my phone, as I’m sure parents of kids going to the match do as well. I always thought that the downloads went via the phone number.

I’m sure they used the face recognition at the “city are back” promotion the other day Seem to see a video asking people to take hats off. They’re gonna have fun trying to take individual masks off us all.

Think this may take a protest beyond all protests to make them have a rethink.
I’m not sure what the appetite would be for an on masse refusal to attend a match and a refusal to list on ticket exchange?
It would be a major embarrassment to the club but would also jeopardise ourselves due to the mandatory attendance criteria.
Obviously I don’t know what the wider fan base is thinking but from those I know that don’t post on here, as well as the feelings articulated on here, it’s clear that the disconnect between us fans and the club is getting wider and wider.
Maybe I’m naive in thinking the club would have to listen should extreme action be taken.
The way I see it, we have a number of choices
1 Sit back and accept whatever the club does
2 Wait for City Matters, OSC etc to report back on any ongoing discussions
3 Take action through our feedback to the club that would be supplemented with additional actions. Walkout / Failure to show etc
I would add that I didn’t take part in the previous protest, through personal choice. I regret the decision I made then as it proved pivotal in the price freeze.
Little did I know that the club would use those very protests as a mechanism to generate further income through forced membership.
This is not a club that I recognise as my club anymore and I don’t like it.
I’ll always support the team but the business side of my club sickens me, it really does.

Tried that it didn’t work.

If the club has reduced individual match ticket prices, that makes them not much more expensive than a season ticket, so other than a one off £35, the club isn't really increasing revenue, unless there are going to be tens of thousands of £35's. 30,000 is only a £1m
But the club is really running the risk of early season games, where lots of supporters are on holiday, and the less attractive fixtures, where there could be lots and lots of empty seats

And cup games. If they restrict transfers for those, the stadium will be half empty.

i am genuinely done - had a season ticket since age 6 - 50 next year - rang u yesterday to say how do i download my season ticket - they said stopped me having one as i missed too many games last season. i missed about 6 as i am no tech geek i cant be arsed with all the transferring to people and putting back on webiste bollox.

Made my mind up for me City - 44 years! well done.
Speak to Danny Wilson, he knows what side his bread is buttered on mate.

Every year that goes by the club gets further and further away from our proper fans
It's a concern that they are getting further away from season ticket holders but I'm not really arsed about them getting further away from so-called fans who won't even buy a membership. And remember, season tickets were always non-transferable until the ticket exchange appeared a few years ago. It couldn't be implemented, but it was always the case.
My main concerns (along with prices) are City fans with long-held memberships and some purchase history, not being granted sufficient time to buy tickets ahead of tourists. This also applies to cup games for ST holders not on cup schemes.
My other concern, which I have alluded to in the past, is that the club is bringing in restrictions when they don't really know the demand for the additional 7,000 seats that will be available from Jan or Feb 2026. The fact that our current capacity sells out only a few days before games suggests there will be quite a lot of empty seats for many matches unless prices plummet across the entire stadium.

It's obvious that the the Club do not value traditional supporters, and that they want more and more Corporates and Day Trippers. This latest gimmick is obvious proof of that.

In terms of a protest, how about a mass boycott of say 15 / 20,000 Season Ticket holders when we have a live TV game ( and where we don't transfer to a F&F or list our tickets on the Exchange). That will no doubt leave the greedy twats in an embarrassing position.

I'm not sure how it is going to work but if you walk through and scan your ticket it will record what you look like. If you then get up to no good , perhaps some gambling shenanigans, and it is caught on camera then they would be able to match your face and seat. As said, no idea how it works or if it will come into play.
No problem with that as I don't gamble, but I'm in trouble if they use it to identify those who use foul and abusive language.

I still remember the book you got given as a season ticket holder in the Kippax and you'd turn up on match day, rip out the number above the turnstile and give the guy a piece of paper. All this downloading to phone, facial recognition is a bit much for me and I'm not that old. I can't imagine how the old folk get on

Who remembers cutting tokens out of match day programmes and the front cover of away programmes and sticking them to a sheet in order to qualify for FA Cup and big match tickets ?

I’d be up for a boycott. Stay on the concourse for the entire first half leaving a near empty ground to show just how much bad feeling there is towards these new rules.
