Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

I still remember the book you got given as a season ticket holder in the Kippax and you'd turn up on match day, rip out the number above the turnstile and give the guy a piece of paper. All this downloading to phone, facial recognition is a bit much for me and I'm not that old. I can't imagine how the old folk get on
I'm 68 and have never had an issue downloading my ST to my phone or buying tickets for away games and Wembley on line. Though I'll admit the messing about for Istanbul was a bit silly, but that's UEFA for you.

It's obvious that the the Club do not value traditional supporters, and that they want more and more Corporates and Day Trippers. This latest gimmick is obvious proof of that.

In terms of a protest, how about a mass boycott of say 15 / 20,000 Season Ticket holders when we have a live TV game ( and where we don't transfer to a F&F or list our tickets on the Exchange). That will no doubt leave the greedy twats in an embarrassing position.
Sorry, just to clarify, I would be in favour of
NOT TURNING UP AT THE STADIUM. Just watch it on TV

I think it's more me than anything else. We go abroad and I print off boarding passes rather than download them to my phone. I just prefer it

It's a concern that they are getting further away from season ticket holders but I'm not really arsed about them getting further away from so-called fans who won't even buy a membership. And remember, season tickets were always non-transferable until the ticket exchange appeared a few years ago. It couldn't be implemented, but it was always the case.
My main concerns (along with prices) are City fans with long-held memberships and some purchase history, not being granted sufficient time to buy tickets ahead of tourists. This also applies to cup games for ST holders not on cup schemes.
My other concern, which I have alluded to in the past, is that the club is bringing in restrictions when they don't really know the demand for the additional 7,000 seats that will be available from Jan or Feb 2026. The fact that our current capacity sells out only a few days before games suggests there will be quite a lot of empty seats for many matches unless prices plummet across the entire stadium.
I agree with you to some extent. But those who you describe as ‘so called fans who won’t even buy a membership’ are often the fans of the future. The kid next door who might otherwise go on to support the scum, a bloke at work who thinks he’s not interested in football until he goes to a live match. They’re often the ones who tag along on free ticket when someone can’t attend. And get bitten by the bug.

I probably miss 1 or 2 games per season including all the cup games. My son misses 3 or 4. If either of us can’t go I always offer my ticket or my son’s to a friend and her son. I never ask for a penny as I’ve already paid for our STs and it’s rare I / we miss a match.
We’ll both be absent for Spurs so I planned to transfer both tickets to my friend - one for her, one for her son (he’s seven so doesn’t have an email address).
Am I right in now thinking I can’t transfer two tickets (mine and my son’s) to my friend’s email address? She’s on my F&F. He isn’t on my F&F and he also doesn’t have a supporter number.
They’ve made this deliberately obtuse
If its a good friend get her to sign into ur account or ur sons and download the other ticket onto her phone so she has both tickets on her phone if that makes sense

What threw the citizen membership scam into disrepute was the tourist tickets and the inability to buy 2 tickets so you couldn't even sit with someone you knew. The club still haven't sorted this out and you can still only buy one ticket and not get so much as a sniff for a recent sized game.

Premier league clubs including ours are overestimating their importance IMHO, this transferring of tickets is another fiasco brought on by themselves, apart from the rules and the point your face at the scanner they can't get fuck all right, then add layer after layer of failure points to an already fucked up system.

People were genuinely spending £35 on nothing last season, tickets for decent games were non existent and the average ticket was horrendously priced.

I have just done similar with my two grown up children….we all have each others tickets on our phones….so we can take a friend if one us doesn’t go….so no reason a trusted friend can’t sign in to your account and download on to theirs if you can’t go

I to have 2 season tickets on my phone, as I’m sure parents of kids going to the match do as well. I always thought that the downloads went via the phone number.
Mine come by email, with a link to download them. So I log in to each email account and download separately to my wallet.

Did you get anywhere with this mate? I keep getting the same message everytime I try despite only adding 1 person once it says they are assigned too many times??

It seems you need to edit owner in the non member transfer screen and set who you want to nominate. It feels like your transferring your ticket to that person but it doesn’t do that from what I can see

I’ve completed mine now and still seem to own a season ticket so all good!!! Hahaha

But they could be added to an ST's friends and family and have a ticket transferred to them.
Also, is the £35 an annual charge or a long-term membership?

Annual ,but actually last season it was easier getting tickets than the year before. This year doeasn't seem bad either, plus with the extension should be plenty of tickets next year. The discounts fo tickets, shop, food and drink I'll get more than my £35 back.
