Where’s all the money coming from? The country is bust. It really does stink, especially if that twat Seb Coe is involved. Why should public money be used to move jobs from Manchester to Merseyside.

All I know is I met Coe once in a business environment and would not trust him as far as I could throw him. He is well connected with senior politicians and has made a lot of money since he retired as an athlete.

I know there's a saying: "Hope springs eternal" but it just seems so futile for them.

I suppose you have to give them credit for their unwavering faith.

Waiting for their club to achieve success must be similar to that of the Christians waiting for the second coming.
 
Champions League should be invitation only. Who wants to watch midget land, FC Sheriff and Royal Antwerp. It just devalues the greatest footballing competition. They should change the name to The champions of Champions League and each year invites should be extended to 4 from Liverpool United Arsenal Wolves Spurs Blackburn Rovers Forrest and Villa. History clubs only in such a prestigious competition. No one’s bothered about oil clubs formed in 2008, bankrolled by some bloke in a turban I'm afraid.
