Last Film You Saw

Honestly, just dreadful. I had such high hopes for it given the buzz and reviews but fucking hell.

That's just me though, if you enjoy it to each their own!
Oh my god, just back from this..... What the actual f**k have I just watched?

The Worlds Fastest Indian (2005) - 8.5/10 randomly stumbled across this film based on true story of a New Zealander who attempts to break the land speed record in USA on his homemade motorbike - superbly acted by Anthony Hopkins. Full film is on YouTube here if anyone's interested:

Watching Happy Gilmore 2.

It’s obviously the most low brow slapstick nonsense this side of American Pie, but I’ll admit I’ve pissed myself laughing at several times.

John Daly and Rory McIlroy are brilliant sports taking part, and Ben Stiller reviving his role from the first film is fantastic.

For a bit of brain dead tv it’s brilliant.

Had a lazy day. Watched three films.

Human Traffic.

Trainspotting and Trainspotting T2

All brilliant films. The second T2 didn't have that dark, unsettling feel. But still very well done.

Great soundtracks.

A lot of nostalgia involved. Where the fuck has the time gone.

Jurrasic world rebirth. It's not the worst Jurrasic park film I've seen. Felt like it's own film rather than any kind of sequel/ spinoff. Enjoyed it, wasn't expecting much. The mutant dinosaurs were a bit unnessacary especially when's there's a trex knocking about. Nothing will ever live up to the original and I still think the special effects are better in that despite being about 30 years old
I listen to Kermode’s podcast and he basically said it was a very well directed film but a dog shit script.

28 Years Later

Not sure if over-directed is the right term for the first 99% of the film. Felt like a decent student made film.

The last 1% was truly rubbish though.

Jurassic Rebirth took a long while to get going I thought but once it was then it was very decent. Really enjoyed it with the kids.

Happy Gilmour 2 is a must see. Not brilliant but a very decent sequel with plenty of laughs and nice touchs.

Kraven the Hunter
Watching on the small screen, the CG animals are largely awful.
The acting is too, Russell Crowe seems to have all but given up acting, and now lumbers around with a terrible accent.
The story just happens for no terribly good reason.
Just a bad film in almost every respect.
