He’s the 2nd best “pure” goalkeeper on the planet imo. Only Courtois is better.

If the 2nd best player on the planet in any position becomes available, as a club at the top table, with aspirations to return to winning PLs and CLs you don’t fuck about, you get him signed.

Trafford would’ve been in a battle for the No1 spot so this changes fuck all for him he’ll just have to be a big boy and crack the fuck on.
Why does he have 4 clean sheets and a worse save percentage than Ederson then?

Hes not the second best keeper on the planet but even that was the case doesnt mean hes the second best keeper for us. In the past 8 years theres not a keeper in the world more suited to us than Ederson and he wasnt one of the top
2 in his position in the world.

This.

Wild one but... he comes in with the club fully knowing we're selling him to Chelsea in a few years and then Trafford stepping up

Imagine saying no to Donnarumma...
Imagine that you had just lied to another new signing by saying 1 more season under Eddie and you'll be the new #1 only to then sign a keeper that is 26yo with a good 10 year life span left in him.

He's a great keeper btw but it should have been one or the other, again, just my humble opinion.

You’re conveniently forgetting that Ederson has wanted to bounce for 2 seasons.

Go on I’ll humour you who’s better than Donnarumma?

Tricky one this as I think Donna is a better keeper in terms of shot saving than Eddie but is nowhere near him in terms of his passing ability and general calmness on the ball. Is Donna more likely than Eddie to stop the one shot on target one goal that opponents often have, conversely is Donna going to more effective than starting attacks?

If anyone watched PSG closely last season they will see he stood out like a sore thumb for his inability to play. Its quite impressive how ruthless PSG are about a big name player who clearly doesnt suit them. Enrique is a top top manager with big balls.

Enrique likes to play a way not a million miles away from Peps style yet prefers a somewhat unproven French keeper over this fella who some people are calling best in the world.

I am shocked that Pep is sanctioning this, i will believe it when I see it because i just dont believe it will happen

We all know the answer to all of that....he is poor with his feet but a fantastic shot stopper...Having Donnarumma in goals would mean a change of style surely

Could be a change of style... or Pep thinks he can change him and teach him how to use his feet

+1
Great keeper, but doesn't suit our system.

Well if Eddie want to go, either this summer or next then whats the solution? Trafford first choice which means we need to find a back up anyway, so why the hell not go for one of the best keepers in the world and let them battle it out? Bring him in. And Rodrygo aswell.
