PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I’ve just finished watching all seven series of Lost on Netflix. Started watching it a couple of weeks ago and was in too deep before I realised they were taking it off tomorrow so it’s been a race against time trying to fit it all in between Cricket and working full time. Wish I hadn’t bothered. They were all dead from the start!
Not sure where to start with this…

7th series, how did that go?
Posted in the 115 thread, any link?
They weren’t dead from the start..

Can we add "are we there yet" to the title as this is endless!

“Are we there yet?”;)

I thought it was in secret and no-one had an indication of how it had gone other than the participants. Which I have always thought was a load of bxllocks. Everybody talks even highly paid barristers, in or outside chambers. I stick to my opinion which is that many people know the outcome but are scared of the consequences if they are known to have leaked it. The delay is making the decision on every allegation watertight when it is written up and published and furthermore I think City will be pushing this so the PL have no wriggle room to come back at City.
Like others on here though, I could be wrong, as Mrs Manchester frequently shouts;-)View attachment 165884

That is a great phrase that I've never heard, I'll be using that for sure:-)

It was told to me by a streetwise scouse GM who took me under his wing. He told me about an incident that was going to leave the state with a huge gas shortage & close production for weeks. He said it was very lonely position to be until they came up with a solution & suddenly every man & his dog attached themselves to it. I suppose the main point is the reverse. Look at how they are distancing themselves from the charges, even the shit bag clubs saying it was the bigger clubs behind it. Their time to speak was years ago.

The only interesting thing to come out of the latest articles was:

"I think the Premier League will have been taken aback, as well as the arbitration panel really, how Manchester City have come with their defence," added Patel.

"They've been defending from right up front, attacking the Premier League in terms of their defence and making sure they've been aggressive in terms of what they've said the Premier League is wrong on."

I don't know how reliable this Patel guy is (is it the guy who was on Talksport once and made a complete arse of himself?). I don't like football analogies in things like this and I am not really sure what it means but it's an interesting comment if it is based on anything.

Which I doubt. So, as you were, really .....

Roan pushing the new PL narrative that “They had no choice but to charge City for the good of football.” No choice but to accuse of us producing false accounts hundreds of times over a decade with no apparent evidence. It won’t wash even with our crooked media.
Were the PL pushed into a corner by the redshirts?
“If you don’t charge them, we will join the superleague.”
