Everyone I play football with would tell you that for me :DAre you telling us you’re an eccentric weirdo mate? ;)

I think some still suffer from "red under the bed" syndrome. Protecting themselves from the possibility that he may actually sign for the rags and having to deal with "City snubbed" nonsense by getting in early with the "didn't want him anyway" mentality.don't think i've ever seen a potential signing polarize the fanbase so much
He will have had a few blow's on the head, too.Are you telling us you’re an eccentric weirdo mate? ;)
No it won't.Just feels odd. He's a world class shot stopper. But it would completely change the way we play. I'm really interested to see how we set up with him in the team and how we play
Bored of hearing it now tbhJust out of interest- all those who are whinging we can’t play our style without Ederson, can’t play out from the back etc, which goalkeeper is “good enough on the ball” to replace him? Give us some names
You are exaggerating Donnarumma's weaknesses. Ederson doesn't want to extend his deal at City, hence when Donnarumma's agent openly talks about Manchester City, there is speculation.
There is smoke. There is also fire. There is also a bucket of water.
The misconception has definitely highlighted how many on here simply do not understand the game.Bored of hearing it now tbh
Crazy how some people think a change in the way a player plays a position is going to have such a detrimental impact on the team
Rodri very different to Fernandinho
Aguero very different to Haaland
De Bruyne very different to David Silva
3 key roles that have changed, and have had no impact on the club continuing to be successful
As I said the other day, there are people that still say Haaland doesn't fit a Pep style of play, or words to that effect
Do you not trust that if Pep wants him he’s happy with how he plays?
Ffs, anyone told Pep

We’d certainly miss Ederson for the build up and his calmness when we just pop it about so nonchalantly. It would certainly require some change but i think some of it is exaggerated. As people have said PSG play out from the back. We played great football before Pep and with Joe Hart in net. I can’t deny i’m a little surprised we’re in for him because of Pep though. However, on the flip side it would be great to have a keeper capable of pulling off worldies and if he’s good on one on ones that would certainly get us plenty of points over a season. When Hart was at his best i was surprised when he didn’t save a one v one and it’s similar a lot with Alison. These days i’m pleasantly surprised when a one v one doesn’t end up straight in the back of our net.
It's just the timing for me if we are going to change our build up style at least work on it before the season starts not change after the season has started.Bored of hearing it now tbh

Wonder what Trafford thinks about this? Was he told that we may well be signing a world class, relatively young keeper in the same window whose wages will dictate that we're almost compelled to use as the #1 keeper?if we didnt already have trafford signed, i think a lot more would be well on board with this.
Where’s the discussion? It's possible to discuss a player without continually saying this.
If you and others want to believe that Donnarumma is the bestest ever keeper with no faults then go ahead.
Dec doesn't actually believe anything, as such. He is here to only to dismiss ;).It's possible to discuss a player without continually saying this.

Is he by all accounts on the cusp of signing? Look, valid point re Pep, but are the claims really that firm? One in l'equippe and the rest seems to stem from that.Where’s the discussion?
If he wasn’t a “pep” player he wouldn’t by all accounts be on the cusp of signing would he unless of course this is all a final sabotage by Pep to ruin us before he leaves.
No thanks, I’m straight :)Cum on lads.
He doesnt want to be here ffs!Fantastic keeper, best in the world at being a shot stopper....
But just doesn't suit the way we play.
Enrique sets up PSG similar and doesn't want him because his kicking/passing is that awful.
I know there are some on here that have a real hard on for just shot stopping but the role of a keeper has changed in the last decade.
I understand wanting a keeper that can stop shots better than Ederson because people only see negatives in him, but his positives are a big reason why we have won so much over the last decade.
