Must be some potential for a deal then… be great if Newcastle kept hold of Isak and sold us Livaramento. The club are still interested.

Very likely this window, unless the advances are knocked back.Do you have any clue if one is likely to come in this window or later?
Sell and buy Guehi.
Playing for Forest in the way that Nuno sets up will help him at fullback because our defence gets exposed when playing such a high line.Evening all - Forest fan in peace - reading through this thread there seems to be a mixed opinion about Lewis? He certainly fits our profile of transfers and we need a RB as we basically ran Aina into the ground last season (why we had to play a 19yr old CB against you at Wembley). Is he good enough to back up and eventually replace Aina for us? Cheers
Just can’t see either Newcastle or Chelsea selling to us? Newcastle have been decimated already and Isak is probably going and Chelsea consider themselves (and could well be) direct rivals for the PL.
I’m open to it too, like the lad but just like McAtee I personally don’t ever think either of them will be top class. Happy to eat humble pie if I’m wrong. The club want a buy back clause. If that can be agreed between the two clubs. This will happen.
The club are open to the sale. As is Rico Lewis.
20 million should do but would take £20
If you end up eating humble pie, the buy back clause will be activated.I’m open to it too, like the lad but just like McAtee I personally don’t ever think either of them will be top class. Happy to eat humble pie if I’m wrong.
“Stones, Akani, Grealish, Gundo, Mcatee, Nunes.”I like the look of Gusto. But Lewis is a HG player whereas Gusto is non-HG. We are in the limit as it is so I can’t see a non-HG coming in at rightback unless Akanji or Nunes goes as well
Obviously mate, lol. Can’t see it with either of them tbh.If you end up eating humble pie, the buy back clause will be activated.
Man not sure how it could be Gusto.Very likely this window, unless the advances are knocked back.
I think what some fans don’t recognise is that some players just want game time. It was reported (don’t know how true) that some players had been given some ‘home truths’ this week. May be that game time was limited in the future, and some players considering their position. I think as we did with James, getting a buy back and sell on is key. If other clubs develop players that’s fine, if they want to come back of course. Depending on the goalkeeper situation with Trafford and possibility of a new keeper coming in, that might harm the buy back clause. However, if the young player wants to go, a buy back and sell on is the best we can hope for.The club want a buy back clause. If that can be agreed between the two clubs. This will happen.

I’m sure it’s changed a bit since I was last there mate. The big house behind the 6 ft walls on the way into Woodhouses
What are we going to do with the money? We dont have financial issues, we cannot replace him in the squad, having that extra body available is worth far more to us than whatever offer comes in for him.If you can get circa £30 mil for a player I’m not convinced will ever be good enough for city AND insert a buyback clause in case he does prove to be good enough then it’s a no brainer imo.
Like Mcatee take the money and run
I like pie though. If you could see it then you wouldn't need to eat humble pie.
People in Failsworth don't like being told they live in Oldham.People in Woodhouses don’t like being told they live in Failsworth
