Thought they would have been a bit further on than that with all the containers ready on site...Co op live
It’s London180 rooms, 29 stories. That's only 6 rooms per floor. Bearing in mind it gets more expensive to build the higher you go, seems inefficient, unless they are constrained by land availability?

Co-op Live’s pre-drinks venue given thumbs up - Place North West
Manchester City Council has granted consent for a 7,200 sq ft hospitality destination made of shipping containers next to the £350m arena.www.placenorthwest.co.uk
My guess is the 2000sq/ft is the footprint of the prefabs, the rest is the area along side.Do we have any idea when it might be open (the articles don't say)?
Also this says that it is 7,200 sq ft but the Better Green living link says it's 2,000 sq ft - is that just an error on one of the pages or is there more to it?
Is that an artists impression or the current state of play ?View attachment 165852

Better Green Living secures landmark canalside project at CO-OP Live Manchester
Sustainable refurbishment specialist, Better Green Living, has been appointed to design the new canalside development at the UK’s largest live indoor arena, Cbdcmagazine.com
Are you talking about the Ashton canal? That's nothing to do with COOP Live or City. The greenery you see in the artists impression will go in after they've actually finished construction. Is that an artists impression or the current state of play ?
*Edit, its AI @mcfcblue20 posted the real look.....the greenery in front of it is shocking

The prefabs don’t look very big must be some outside terracing or some stuff inside the co op but surely that was already thereMy guess is the 2000sq/ft is the footprint of the prefabs, the rest is the area along side.
You will be able to sit outside as wellThe prefabs don’t look very big must be some outside terracing or some stuff inside the co op but surely that was already there
We have competition.
I won't post the info as it will take the thread off topic.
Spurs are building a 180 room hotel, 29 stories high, right next to their ground.
Spurs are also building 4 residential towers, 19 to 35 storeys high, featuring 585-spartments.
Google F3 Architects for the hotel. Google the residential towers.
I wonder what City have planned for the Collar Site?

That looks like it's being built on one of the selling points of the new Stadium, a big outdoor fan zone leading into the long bar. All that beautiful design work to be hidden behind towers.
That looks so shit. One of the best parts of their stadium is looking at that end when walking up to it. Horrendous money driven making decision.
Had the craziest dream last night. I foresaw the Etihad Campus some time in the future...
There was a lake of silver running past the stadium,
There were hotels, shops, and more.
It was as though a mini city had risen up and was unifying the people.
A voice echoed around the campus and said 'Not long now, the 115 result will be here soon'.
