So much for rico Lewis is definitely leaving. Turns out that was a load of bs!
Spot on!!!A City fan, a young lad, a product of our academy, a versatile option that can cover a number of positions, seemingly a great attitude, a lad who we would have to spend £50m+ to replace with no guarantee of it being an upgrade, and someone who understands and WANTS to fight for a place in the side, has just signed on for another five years.
Can someone please explain why this news isn’t being universally celebrated, as in 100% of City fans over the moon?
Give me this over a shiny new toy costing tens of millions, every single day of the week, and twice on match day.
He showed he’s not scared of the big ones v Wolves, tough little buggerMate, if Lewis struggles it means the whole defence is struggling, including Rico.
I don't recall many situations where we were cruising defensively & Lewis was the obvious weak link. The main issue affecting him is his size & age, as we've seen teams targeting him for brutal treatment trying to unsettled him.
Two years ago, Pep criticised our senior players for not standing up & protecting him more. He was getting clattered & thrown about in that particular match, & not one senior player stood up for him, or tried to protect him.
Imagine some bent nose, cauliflower eared brute trying it on with Rico if Fernandinho or Kompany were still here? No fucking chance! They'd have kicked the bastard into the middle of next week, then time travelled forward to boot him some more!
Yup! And he's getting tougher by the year it seems. I'm seriously chuffed that he's staying mate...He showed he’s not scared of the big ones v Wolves, tough little bugger
I thought it was just under 21.Khus and Savinho don't qualify for the B list. You have to be club trained for 3 seasons between 15 & 21 I believe.
I still think Gundo will go.
And been at the club for 2 years.I thought it was just under 21.
Yeah you are right. I guess that means we need to lose one other then. And been at the club for 2 years.
A player may be registered on List B if he is born on or after 1 January 2004 and has, since his 15th birthday, been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years, or a total of three consecutive years with a maximum of one loan period to a club from the same association for a period not longer than one year. Players aged 16 may be registered on List B if they have been registered with the participating club for the previous two years without interruption.
Sorry mate but barring injury he's definitely starting more than ten league games, for as much as you don't rate him, Pep and those with sense do.Nothing against him i just don't think he's good enough to be s starter in any of the top 4 teams, as a squad player maybe he's worth keeping around, he's no right back and he's behind so many in midfield so if he starts 10 league games i'd be suprised.
Well saidHe’s 20 years of age ffs
Exactly my thoughtsSo all the Forest stuff was bollocks or did Rico's people instigate it to get an approved contract.
I imagine it wouldn’t take long for us to determine whether or not there was interest from forest so not sure how that would help.So all the Forest stuff was bollocks or did Rico's people instigate it to get an approved contract.
Pep out - Marty in ! ……oh wait a minute somethings wrong with this statement hmmmmA shining example of the value a good agent to a player.
He'd have been a big “sell” for me, yet here is for another 5 years.
Oh well, got to be someone else we can move on.
When will people stop falling for that bullshit? So much for rico Lewis is definitely leaving. Turns out that was a load of bs!
Nothing gets past the World class scouts that reside on these pages, though. He must be a bloody good agent to have pulled the wool over Pep's, Hugo's, rest of the coaching staff and of course the board itself. Or, they just think he's worth it.
Well I think he will be our Neville. Not good enough but a solid squad player years to come and also a reason now for the board not to go for a RB. Having 2 fullbacks would be a disgrace for the board.A shining example of the value a good agent to a player.
