I think he's perhaps pointing out the irony of your statement. You say it's irrelevant, but you also say your own statement is irrelevant as it adheres to the criteria you set out before it. So should we believe your statement? A quandary indeed.

My point was it’s irrelevant what anyone on bm posts regarding this transfer as posters don’t make the final decision and, before you come back and say what is the point of the forum then, read the post I responded to and those preceding it

I’m not sure it’s “very likely” right now as if you look at how Galatasaray moved to get that Akanji fee agreed this Ederson thing been dragging on and on now.

Something clearly delaying this deal. Could be city won’t progress with it until they can agree a fee with PSG but just feels like a very weird one at this point. I wouldn't rule out the rags the later into next week this goes.

Akanji won't go to Gala because he doesn't wanna go there. He'll end up in Bundesliga. Romano reported there are no issues with PSG's price, City is waiting on Gala matching Ederson's price so that he can go. Hopefully now that Akanji told them no we'll see it progress further with Ederson.
 
wonder if he and his agent set a deadline for us. will they wait for us even if Galatasaray and Ederson take another full week to decide.
the longer we wait and delay this the more chance someone else comes in for him and he goes there but not sure I would want to block Ederson's move as he already wanted to go Saudi last summer, now seemingly Turkey, while his overall goalkeeping is on the slide a bit. his contract is also off next summer. probably right time to cash in.

I would move an uninvested Ederson regardless. If we then sign Donnarumma fine. If not, Trafford becomes the 1 with Ortega in reserve...

I dunno, if it's true personal terms are agreed, then I guess they're just waiting to get the Ederson deal over the line and push this one through.

It sounds like all parties are confident it happens if nothing has been called off by now and there's no strong rumours of either going elsewhere.

I think if this was a no go, we would know by now but instead we're just waiting for all the moving parts to fall into place.

Let's see, I may be wrong. Maybe nobody involved is sure of anything

We see some transfers take weeks
 
Now it looks like ederson is set to stay as gala have moved on (check latest post on his thread) I hope posters don’t absolutely lose their minds when donnarumma joins United.

If he goes there he will be desperate. No champions league football. I would guess that would be a priority for him.
