You're so right we're all spoilt, Johnny Come Lately, entitled tw#ts. The business model was clear, get great, then go shit as quickly as possible.
Been a fiasco in planning and forward contingency thinking, no matter how merrily you paint it.

It's a forum, people can speak their mind, people have different opinions. You're upset and fed up by the negativity, I'm cheesed off with those who seem to think this place should be Happy Clapper Central and because we won 4 in a row etc, we should never criticise the club or players again.
I also don't like this inference that unless you were born in Manchester and you are over a certain age, then you're not a City supporter.
You have to expect a wide difference in opinion and emotions on forums, I'm surprised people expect anything different.

I don't mind a bit of a moan - it is the extreme player slagging that's become the norm I don't care for. Even brand new players are getting it today.

I find the vitriol that fans have for other fans infinitely more annoying than fans have for players.

Having a pop at other forum members for their knee-jerking, or ignorance, or youth is, in my opinion, a disgrace.
That is the right of forum members to voice their opinions (however wrong or right), and others have the right to engage respectfully or walk on by.

Football is emotive, and different people express it in different ways. I suspect the vast majority of posters on this forum moaning about other posters moaning about certain players are doing so to unburden themselves of their own frustrations. Which I find I am deeply uncomfortable with (and so should they be).

That the 'mob mentality' mob think this is an OK way to behave to others is THE saddest indictment of modern society. Before slating other people on here, who, I might add; visit free of charge to the club, unlike the players, a certain minimum level of respect is due out of common decency... also, if this confuses any of you, then a quick flick through the COC will educate you.

I agree. I know plenty of blues not from Manchester who supported us all through our bad times, and I know a few non British blues who did too. I've never thought they're not proper blues, of course they are. Those who travel many miles at great expense to attend games deserve praise. Those I know who can't attend love City as much as I or any other blues who are able to go to games. I get a buzz from their passion for City. Respect.

Yes, I know what you mean...Its' just heat of the moment over-reaction, done it myself plenty of times. Personally, I dislike the gratuitous swearing and needless use of the 'c" word more than I get worried about someone venting about a player. Each to their own I guess!

And many anglers will disagree with your statement.
