KhusanovIf we continue to play a high line having one of the best GKs in the world at saving shots isn’t a bad idea. We also need much more pace in the back line as well

Which I don’t agree with as our manager is Pep and he’s got a two year contract.Unless it’s future planning.
LolBe the most pointless transfer of the window this, if we don't alter the way we are playing/defending. Khusanov for a bit of actual pace would be a nice start.
It'll just be a better (currently) keeper than Traff leaking goals like a sieve because we are one of the easiest teams in the league to get at.
So, one game is the barometerI would remind you all that when PSG conceded 3 against Chelsea in the World Club Champions final Donnarumma was in goal so he is human and unless the issues of full-backs is sorted we are unlikely to see any great dividend. The fact that we will have spent so much on keepers but not addressed the real issues in the side is very disappointing
It's the one position I wouldn't want - the way we drop a bollock at the back makes our goalie a bloody Aunt Sally! They've gotta be a shot stopper. The two Trafford saves at the back end could be vital at the end of the season when we're checking GD. Another goal conceded yesterday could be the difference between Europa League 'n what Palace are in, or even worse - fuck all!Be the most pointless transfer of the window this, if we don't alter the way we are playing/defending. I think that Trafford is getting slated but he’s just come in from a championship side with a pretty established defence that have all played with Eddie.
Apart from RAN - Ake, Stones, Dias and Lewis all have had Eddie behind them and it’s a learning curve but one thing Donna offers over Trafford is experience.
I feel like this transfer (if it happens) will be one that helps more than people think.
I really hope we can get this over the line, it looks pretty much done.
No. It's merely pointing out that he is not the answer to our problems. As to the one game issue lots of people on here happy to write off Trafford after 1 gameSo, one game is the barometer

Well, we won’t bother signing him then will we?No. It's merely pointing out that he is not the answer to our problems. As to the one game issue lots of people on here happy to write off Trafford after 1 game
isn't that in effect writing him offWell, we won’t bother signing him then will we?
I don’t see Trafford being written off but posters saying he isn’t good enough to be our No1.
Yeah, I feel Donnarumma is the first time we’ve accepted change. You don’t get him in and tell him how to play football. Obviously we won’t change our philosophy as a whole but we won’t try and make him Eddie. And that's the problem.
Ederson is a fucking Unicorn.. you can't replace him but City have tried to do what he does with Bravo, Cabellero, Steffen, Oretega and Trafford.
Our defense is too used to Ederson bailing them out.. and thinking good keepers can do what he does, when no one can do what he does.
Not really. He can be an understudy to Donna and develop accordinglyisn't that in effect writing him off

Donnarumma, very close to closing his signing for Manchester City
