Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

It's insane to say "the manager, CEO and DoF have absolutely no consensus or communication on who we buy and sell". Even in Bluemoon's most anti-logic thread.

But then you put "bless" too. Wild.

Ok so logically:

1. To what - to make him want to leave again? Make him want to leave harder? You're telling me someone who you were all mad at for being absolutely desperate to leave now needs to be subtly alienated.

2. If Pep was about to devalue of our asset I don't think we'd reject 2 bids for him. Pep obviously has some say.

Fair enough, that's your opinion.

As I see it, Savinho isn't worth £50m, and the longer he is here, the more likely it is that Pep will alienate him - he's got plenty of previous when it comes to players he doesn't fancy. If Savinho stays and isn't a regular starter, he'll be a less than £30m player by the January window.

Just sell him to Spurs if they still want him, he's a lemon.

I priced him at 80m and it looks like it was relatively in line with how the club did.

28 G/A across la liga and the PL before the age of 21 should be worth a fair whack imo

I don't disagree - if he isnt a regular and falls off he, will decrease in value but probably not below 50m, based on the market.

And I'd say, based on this market, and the increase in fees over time him and Bobb both get 30 starts, 20 subs on (I actually think Sav will nail down first choice but they could share, fair enough) and he hits potential over say 3 years then you've got a 120-140m player.

Update Fatwa scored last night.. looking at the 'stats' for Savinho were they done by his mother .. Shot Accuracy

Fatawu scored last night. As for Shot Accuracy at 56% for Sav was his mother doing the stats!

Yeah the stats compare when they played in the same league, seemed relevant.

I think Savinho would look alright in the Championship somehow.

Also accuracy isnt the same as conversion rate. His accuracy is actually decent.

for my own benefit how is accuracy measured? If I'm though on goal and hit the ball straight at the keeper what does that qualify as? Thanks for answering

You value Savinho at £30m maximum so, just to try and evaluate how your mind works, could you give valuations for the following players chosen totally at random.

Rico Lewis
Kobbie Mainoo
Tino Livramento
Jaden Sancho
Declan Rice
Pedro Porro
Florian Wirtz
Jack Grealish
Erling Haaland
Alexander Isak

Don't be silly. Suffice to say that other than Haaland, Rico, and Kobbie Mainoo, none of them are worth what their clubs paid for them.
Taking wages into account, I'd say that Haaland hasn't been particularly good value for money over the last two seasons either.

Holistically, he’s worth every penny!

Bit of a cop out but I was just trying to point out how easy it is to slag off our players and have orgasms over players at other clubs. Grass greener and all that.

No cop out on my part TC... The only player on that list (other than Haaland and Rico) that I'd want at City is Jack Grealish, and I've always said that he was never more than a £30m player.

Not saying who you’d want, just player valuation. Savinho £30m? Really?

If he doesn't leave in this window, I suspect that he's unlikely to get a regular start under Pep (barring an injury crisis). That being the case, his value will almost certainly drop, possibly quite significantly.

If there's over £50m on the table this window, snatch their hand off. If there's over £60m on offer, they're robbing themselves.

He's a £30m player tops imo.

he will be angry if he is benched a lot if he stays. that Brazil squad is not easy to make, almost no chance if he isnt a regular with at least 25 starts in league and some more in CL, cups.
his competition is Bobb currently and/or Cherki if Pep decides to use him as well in the right side.

all he needs to do is regular end product. now more than ever we need end product from the winger areas. same can be said about Bobb, Doku, Marmoush.

Spurs are willing to pay 70mil (Euros) for Savinho. I'd have taken that the second they offered it. He'll barely be worth 40mil by next Summer. Fkn Soriano..

If only Savinho scored as much as Marmoush. Then I wouldn't want him sold tbh.
