Marmoush stank the gaff out!!

First touch is awful, passing erratic, and weak as piss, and yeah your right, he was out best a tracking option.

Tells you all you need to know about the rest.

Made the goal, created the second best chance for Bobb. He’s our best presser as well, once he went off Brighton beat our press much easier. Marmoush is a little erratic and missed chances last week but he’s genuinely fast.

The fact that imo he was our best attacking option isn’t great in any event as Bobb and Doku have more natural talent but neither deliver enough, constantly taking the wrong options.

No passion from anyone, players and coaches

Fuck all creativity

Fuck all threat

Can't defend to save our lives

And Pep can't see it somehow

Top Four will be a slog, if not a pipe dream soon enough
Heaven knows what he says he is seeing in training that excites him coz I’m not seeing it. Wolves was great tbf but it was wolves.

If performances carry on in this manner, he won't make it until February. He always said he'd walk if he felt the fans weren't behind him, and I've never seen so many fans not behind him as I do now. He may turn it around, but sadly I don't think he has the fire in him anymore
Who's available to replace him?

Pep looked completely disinterested today as well. Compare that with Hürzeler's energy and how it translated onto the pitch in the 2nd half.

It’s not difficult to work out what has gone wrong.

In our pomp we had world class players all over the pitch. Peak Ederson, Walker, peak Stones and Dias, David Silva, Kev, Gundog, Mahrez, Sergio etc etc.

They’ve all been replaced with far inferior players. That’s where the drop off originated from.

Pep’s style worked when he had those players executing it.

The replacements aren’t good enough and Pep has no other ideas.
Yeah I get that - for me these 2 things particularly resonate :

1. Kaldoon always said the plan was to have academy players who have been brought up "the Pep/City way" slip into the team seamlessly yet what I see is younger players coasting about thinking they don't have to do the hard, less exciting stuff first. Kev, Silva and others all worked hardest on the pitch first, which is why they had more time and space to really show their abilities - Our youngsters don't.

2. Prime Pep was known for changing tactics and not being stuck in his ways. It happened to Wenger, Mourinho and others before who then declined and left the top table but Pep always had another plan, another gear if you will. To me now it seems he doesn't and is not looking happy. He is being out coached.

I have zero ideas how we suddenly flip a switch - players have muscle memory that plays rondos and keep ball without dominating. We are a team that coaches any maverick ideas out of players and that is a big problem.

Our reign has come to an end , we haven't bought in players that have a winning mentality or are good enough to dominate games like we once used to on a regular basis if at all now and we will go where every side eventually goes that once challenged for honors each year.

Its not the end of the world its been coming for a while now and things will get a lot worse before they get better again.

it happens to every side and its our turn now after some great times and for a long time in fact as cycles go.

We will need a complete overhaul of the squad and most likely a new manager before we see the days of the old guard return.

We were perhaps spoilt with the quality and the mentality we once had but that's over now.

In a way it will be interesting to see us bottom out to a mid table team which we are now for a while ( I cannot see us finishing anywhere near top four this season ) and then begin the next phase to success.
It's not the players we've brought in, it's the management team

It’s about intensity. Move the ball quickly - and retain it - and yes, the opposition tire and then spaces and chances open up. We used to do that relentlessly. Now, we are FAR too slow and laborious and create nothing. And I might add, boring as fuck to watch. We really are tediously dull.
Flick & Enrique are playing fast, quick and aggressive attacking football like we used to. I don’t think it’s tactical anymore, it’s psychological.

Piss poor second half. We tired badly especially Oscar Bobb.
Khusanov was doing well until his needless booking which brought on the onslaught.
Reijnders good first half then went out of the game.
Haaland needs to practice heading the fucking ball downwards!
Also what’s up with Foden again always fucking injured, time to toughen up

We’ll be in a battle for top 4
Those around us have all improved

Exactly the same as last season.

As soon as Bernardo was made captain I knew this season would be fucking hard work. He was done at this level last year.

Nunes, utter fucking wank, certainly as a right back. Lewis even worse there though. We desperately need to buy the best available, regardless of cost.

Our wingers are ineffective. Offer almost zero goal threat.

Have to give Ait-Nouri time, only his third game. Was shit today.

Khusanov, everyone raves about him but I don’t see it. He’s just rash and impulsive. Need to buy Mark Guehi.

We had another shocker of a transfer wing trying to save money. If we’d signed Guehi, Livramento and Kerkez we’d be much stronger.

Very poor, unambitious and weak in the transfer market and on the pitch.

His rash tackle today led to the free kick that they got the penalty from. You can’t be diving in. Bernado had given a stupid one away a minute earlier too.

We have wasted so much money on average players since 2023. Shocking.
