The club cannot identify a suitable RB. Yep, we set high standards. But when we've signed Gonzalez, Nunes, Savinho, Doku and a litany of shite in recent years, you lose the right to be considered the gold standard in the transfer market. I mean I'd probably go tap water, fire extinguisher, sand, blanket, etc etc before i ever got to whipping Thomas out but to each their own.I wouldn't piss down his neck if his throat was on fire but, to each their own.

For sure. Criminal especially when we knew for 6 months plus that Walker was leaving. Stubborn, arrogant or incompetent who knows maybe a combination of all 3. In saying that on past few games a rb will help but not solve all (pacy productive winger, destructive driving enforcer etc also needed).The club cannot identify a suitable RB. A lot of us were desperate to sign him when he was available a couple of years ago. Brings goals, assists, workrate. Same with Kvara at PSG, few others overall. We have been complacent, and we are still not taking it seriously.That Liverpool new RB ( Szoboszlai ) is not bad

If Liverpool can spend 450mil after 1 PL in 5 years with ease then why are we penny pinching for Livramento after we won the PL and had 60mil net positive last Summer + CWC money + record deal with Puma? We should be loaded now. 80mil for the best RB in PL which we desperately need shouldn't be an issue and is a no-brainer of a decision. Instead we low-balled with 50mil 2 months ago for him and then nothing. Seriously, what?!

They can blow another £300m and not care about PSR.
The big difference is, they have on the whole bought well and we have spent poorly.
One of the biggest issues we currently have is we have players like Gundogan, Akanji, Kovacic, Savinho, Gvardiol, Ortega and Betinelli all not making our bench at the moment. Now, some of them will when fit, but you have a couple there who are on £200k + who we haven't sold yet or don't want to move.

They can blow another £300m and not care about PSR.
