52 | Oscar Bobb - 2025/26

That is very far from the truth.
I suspect you are just attempting to wind people up. Nobody who has watched Bobb for a period of time believes that his decision making is flawed.
I am not winding people up. Every time you watch him he's running into blind alleys. his decision making both on the dribble, pass and shot needs serious work.

This is simply untrue in my opinion. Even if it were the case, you have made that judgement in 3 games; it is very premature.
Perhaps it is premature. I am saying he needs to work on it. No player stays at the same level.

He will be am excellent player for us this season. Just needs to get fully up to speed after being out for so long.

I have watched him throughout the academy, winning academy POTY twice, and he could not be accused of what you suggest. Anyway, let's hope it is I who is correct as we will be better for it.
But he's not an academy player anymore. he's 22 and has really done nothing so far in senior football

The same people who claim he was amazing in the academy will tell us that players from leagues ain’t PL proven. Man what a time to be alive. Bobb‘s biggest accolades are not only years ago but he literally has like 1200 minutes in senior football as is apparently the Heir of Messi. He will end up on the bench the moment savinho is fully fit. Bobb has no page to get away from his oppositions. I don’t know how many slower players we need but the winger position isn’t one.

Thankfully the injury scare last week was nothing.

Got a feeling players have been reminded that the club should come first at the slightest twinge, and being fit to play for City will do their world cup prospects more good than being out injured and losing their places.

If that was the case Bobb wouldn't have played for Norway in midweek.

That is definitely a fan's opinion of the club v internationals dilemma, and you may be correct, but i think players have to report when called up and be assessed regarding fitness issues.

He would if he felt something after the game not before, not saying they've been told to pull out if there is no injury, just if they have any doubt at all.

The dilemma only exists in fans heads.

The players love playing for their countries, the clubs know it’s a requirement, and everyone actually involved knows that the medical care they get away is just as good as at home, injuries can happen any time a player trains, and national team managers are not conspiring to get their best players injured by overplaying them.

The only place people think this is a battle ground of sorts is on forums like this one.

Especially on the John Stones thread.
