Any pointers for Guinea Pigs

My advice for guinea pigs would be as follows.
1. Stop squeaking and munching lettuce at all times of day and night in the house. You'll annoy the family who will re-house you in a cheap hutch at the end of the garden.
2. If you ignore point 1. above, refuse to be relocated to the hutch. It will be broken in to by that stray, starving boxer dog that's been hanging around for a couple of weeks - and your heads will be found in the middle of the garden in the morning by the distraut 6 year old child of the house.

Don't go to Peru
They do like to eat them there, don't they?

I visited Peru 25 years ago and never tried them, but they were usually on the menu.

From memory, they were named Coy, Chy, or something like that.

Hutches with Guinea Pigs inside were a common sight.

Mrs just brought home a couple of females. I have never had rodents before. Any pointers on what you need to do with them?

From what I read online, they are just fat bastards and you just keep giving them vegetation?
Absolutely pointless pets.
You feed them, they shit, you clean them out.
That's it.

They love eating dandelions. Thats all I know about guinea pigs. I know loads of other stuff though.

3 days in and all they do is eat and shit. And they shit. And they shit. And they shit. Luckily they seem to be hard pellets.

We had two. Absolute waste of time. Stink as well

Came back off holiday and they were both dead in the hutch. Think a fox had scared them to death. Apparently they have weak hearts
