To appease the press. Why would they do that?
It’s going really well. Everyone seems happy with all the corruption, tax dodging, u turns, gagging orders, tax increases and the incoming budgets of all budgets.Looking from afar, it hasn't been plain sailing for Labour since being elected. Quite a few issues that have had to be dealt with. What's the feeling among theplebsmasses re how they're actually doing?
And if they do that, it’s at the feet of Ange.Another bonus with Ange out the way is they can water down the employment rights bill a bit more.
I dunno every lurch to the right bloats the soft left and if they are briefing Hodges it sounds like they need let off some steam.Who within the PLP is left enough to challenge?
I love stuff like this and wonder who it appeals to?
Some people have short memories. I mean, it was 14 years!I love stuff like this and wonder who it appeals to?
The wording assumes that everything was hunky-dory and the UK was lounging in riches and splendour. Then, these came along and wrecked it all with, well, a couple of days from how the media have reacted since.
However, on the other hand, the A Team were a crew who aided social justice by fighting the establishment and their cronies, praised by everybody for fighting for the poor or downtrodden.
But which one is it, the A Team fighting for workers rights, better pay and conditions, or the ones killing the country following 14 years of taking even more money from the poor or downtrodden?
It’s a strange world.

Exactly what is wrong with the Labour Party and why people will never trust them when they have all this in-fighting.
These MPs are supposed to come together as a collective to look after their people when the reality is that they’d rather force themselves out of power and allow the likes of Reform to make policies that they can complain against.
I was hoping that people would come together, and at least sort the social infrastructure of this country out. Turns out that it’s not about that, it’s all about power, even if it means losing.
Enjoy your misery, it’s seems that’s where certain Labour supporters want to be.
Perhaps the government now feels that it would be unwise, and entirely counterproductive, to add to the rise in unemployment and inflation already caused by the NIC hike. Why would they do that?

Or that it might be wise to pass responsibility for workers rights to somebody who has more experience of working in the private sector than Angela Rayner. And when I say more experience, I mean anybody that has worked a single day in the private sector.
The companies that are moaning the most about NIC increases are also reporting record profits.
The eternal cry of the capitalist. Abolish child labour laws? Can't afford that. A ten hour day? Can't afford that. Factory Act? Can't afford that. (19th century law changes promoted by Tories motivated by Christian ethics.)Perhaps the government now feels that it would be unwise, and entirely counterproductive, to add to the rise in unemployment and inflation already caused by the NIC hike.

That’s simply not true.
It hurts all business employing people.
