It's Quiet the £250m return

Sancho always had the talent. He just chose the wrong club and started to disappear. United is a major dump. Can see sesko being irrelevant within a year too. He is already dumping down and even didn’t wanna shoot a pen during the loss in the cup competition.

City had problems with Sancho because he was spending all his time down in London with his mates instead of working hard at 15/16. That's why Pep wouldn't give him a big contract and take him on tour, so he left.

He got the transfer to Dortmund where none of his loser entourage could reach him (or wanted to reach him because what's in Dortmund?), he worked hard for 3 years and was one of the best young wingers in the world.

Then he came back to England with a contract guaranteeing him £80m and the work ethic left him again as soon as distractions arose.

United to their credit sent him to Holland to do rehab and get his mind straight for 3 months just to get him away from the people around him dragging him down, the did try to help him, but you can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped.

He'll probably retire very wealthy, and without fulfilling his potential, but he was an outstanding prospect from very young and did do it on the main stage in the Bundesliga and CL for a couple of seasons, the talent is there.

At 25 still time to fix it too, if he wanted.

He's a bad player to compare anyone with because his problems are really all off the pitch.

Frank was the one, but that boat's sailed too. If we're applying the same policy/logic like we did for Pep, for Klopp - of buying in players ready to play the new Manager's style we wouldn't have signed who we did and we'd have gone deeper for Wirtz - certainly not give Slot a free run at him.

i doubt he will retire wealthy or stay wealthy if he still hangs around those 'mates'

It's genuinely quite hard to waste away £100m+ (not including sponsorships, investments, interest) It's doable, some people have managed it, but even living a very excessive PL players lifestyle turned up to 11, he'll struggle to retire without a fortune.

Mike Tyson would disagree

Two times in a row? Florian Wirtz did not win the Bundesliga player of the year last season. Harry Kane did.

I've heard this a few times on this forum. It's absolute nonsense.
He won 23/24 and 24/25. player of the year and Bundesliga player of the year. Don’t think it’s absolute nonsense is it?

Maybe we're heading the same way as the rags have gone now buying quantity over quality. Scary thought but our recent signings look to be of a particular average standard

I thought City offered him the highest salary for youngster ( 30K a week) they shook hands with him then Sancho changed his mind.
