Notice that TNT and Bt before rarely put us on the channel 1 of TNT it’s like when there commentators favour whoever we play and bias!

What me have done over the last 10+ years they still treat us like vermin!
Have a day off, can't you? Seriously, you're ticked off about which channel is screening it?

Must be exhausting, being so precious about everything :-(

Unfortunately there's plenty if em.
never going to hit those heights again with current players ,doesn´t mean City can´t win titles again , sure it might happen cause Pep is the best coach in the world ,but dominating leagues and games with this current group is not happening sadly in my opinion. 3-4 years ago we could claim we had the best roster in football probably ,but not anymore :(

Our midfield really worries me. Bernado and Rodri both look off the pace, Tjani has had 1 good game and Phil is only just starting to get back to his best. The rest just aren't good enough.
Or, to put it another way, Bernardo is still full of energy, the Balon D'Or winner is getting better every week, Reindeers is still finding his feet but has had one motm performance and Foden was brilliant in his last game.

Going to be interesting to see what team Pep selects tonight. Personally I think we should play our strongest XI, and worry about Arsenal after that. Need to get our CL campaign off to a good start if we’re to avoid the pitfalls of the play offs again.

I think our Blue friend has his tongue that firmly into its cheek, it’s about to protrude through.

Honestly cannot see how Pep doesn't go full strength.

We got a big win the other day so to almost treat this as a warm up for Arsenal - of whom in all likelihood will beat us on Sunday - could backfire big time. We could be sat here on Monday on the back of two defeats.

This game is the one we are more likely to win.

Plus, our group isn't the easiest. If anything, it is harder than the one we had last seasson. We have some tough away days coming up and to lose a home game is just going to see us on the backfoot like it did last season.

Agreed. Best 11 for me. We really need to start competing for 95+ minutes again rather than playing in patches. Napoli are obviously a very decent team and we need to start finding ways to beat the top level teams again.

100%

We are not a team at the moment that can be picking and choosing matches.

We need to be gaining momentum and taking every game as it comes as a final until we fully embed some confidence within the squad where we can start rotating properly without the worry that we might be sacrificing a game because of a team selection.

There is no such thing as tiredness when you are winning.

Agree. What this team needs more than anything is start getting momentum and confidence from consecutive wins. The best preparation for Arsenal would be a win today, the worst preparation would be not winning today.

Yep. Nothing wrong with not being brilliant but we can certainly be a very hard working very good side. That is entirely down to us.

Anyone who doesn't see we have become a shadow of our former recent selves, is imo in complete denial and needs to wake up and taste the Tiramisu pdq.
I agree in the most part.
We have been dross at times but not sure we are dross.

But In my opinion we’re 3 or 4 players off being able to challenge for the PL or CL.

If we can keep KDB in check for 60mins, that's about the time he starts to get gassed and needs subbing off. Easier said than done of course but if it's a draw at the hour mark, we have got to have way more in the tank as a team to exploit Napoli. They've looked fairly pedestrian in what I've seen of them so far.

Goal fest!
City 4-2 Napoli

Personally it feels like a free hit this season, can't see our present squad winning the CL so it's stress free for me.
3-2 City

Whatever anybody thinks of Napoli, they are as tough as Pot 3 teams get

Pot 3
Tottenham (ENG)
PSV Eindhoven (NED)
Ajax (NED)
Napoli (ITA)
Sporting CP (POR)
Olympiacos (GRE)
Slavia Praha (CZE)
Bodø/Glimt (NOR)
Marseille (FRA)

Not a kind draw

Hadn't really taken that on board. They are the most serious customers in that whole group. No question in my mind. I actually don't understand very well why they're only Pot 3, given that they were Italian champions. I suppose it's because they haven't been champions for quite a while, and/or haven't got very far in the competition in the past. But when you think that Tottenham were seventeenth in their own league, and are only in the thing because they won a joke of a final (and a bad joke at that, because it was two shit teams competing to be worse than the opponent)…
This could be a draw tonight. I'm bracing for that. I'd happily take 1-0.

I am dreading this, the Dipper loving press will be ecstatic if KDB damages us and I can't really say I'm confident we'll keep him quiet. Play like we did against the Rags, play to Haaland's strengths and let Napoli worry about us and I'll be happy. I'd take a scruffy 1-0 and no injuries
