Yea no. I disagreeDidn’t track the runner or alert the CB to him until he was past him.

And the rest?Yeah I'm not gonna judge him for slipping a couple of times
Bc it’s a great point at a tough place to play.. you would have taken a point before the game started. How is anyone happy with that performance we got battered by arsenal the whole game and played like a Mourinho side. It showed just how far off challenging this current side is
Umm...United are crap by anybody's measure at the moment - Grimsby beat them a couple of weeks ago FFS - and Napoli were down to 10 early on, and they're hardly PSG or Real Madrid.
I'd have taken a point before the game too but not like that After we scored they were there for the taking, they had to come out which would have left gaps at the back.
I agree about the point regarding the subs. I can understand protecting Haaland, it's a long season buy Doku was the only one relieving any pressure towards the end of the match and taking him off for the last few minutes is hardly going to make any difference with regard to resting him. Savinho can't play that way and but for that change I think we might have held on.
Any point at Arsenal is a good point but I think we're better than that.
Got battered 1-1….!How is anyone happy with that performance we got battered by arsenal the whole game and played like a Mourinho side. It showed just how far off challenging this current side is
I dont hate him. I want to be awesomeOr at any other point, he played well, maybe take your hating glasses off.
Not sure, Bobb is a runner and closes down, Savio is not and we needed that.Any reason why Savio was brought on and not Bobb?
Doku was keeping us in it by relieving the pressure every now and again and I didn't see the point in bringing him off that late on. I thought we were doing OK even though I didn't like the tactics but would have probably held on if we had kept Doku on.Very disappointed not to win. We should have gone two up and a few consecutive poor decisions, including front the ref, cost us two points.
Don’t agree the subs were the problem: fresh legs were needed.
Roy Keane on the TV being critical of Pep mentioning the schedule, what a dick (oh but you knew that already). Two days more rest and prep is significant at any time to a game like today’s.
A decent week but we are miles behind Dippers already on points; not that we are favourites for the league. We still need more quality and pace but lost of fastest player at HT to injury thanks to that thug Gabriel.
We need our best players fit to have an outside chance of the league. We also need Rodri back to full fitness, which will take time.
I do not like playing like we did today but it is something we need to be able to do and were very good defensively today.
You cant put blame for lost points on a player for a single mistake when they made game saving moves at earlier points in the match. If Donnarumma hadn't have had a brain fart we would have won.
So, whose player is the winger???Yea no. I disagree
I thought City played well, much more solid in defence and after two tough fixtures earlier in the week, and no time to recover from Thursday v Napoli, along with a lack of back up for Haaland due to injuries, I was impressed with City today, just a shame they couldn’t hang on for another five minutes. How is anyone happy with that performance we got battered by arsenal the whole game and played like a Mourinho side. Great post. This further cements Pep’s reputation as the greatest manager of all time. He’s able to adjust and evolve. I think the other Pep and Kolo are probably helping Pep adjust as well, and I don’t think he wants to play like that but sometimes you have to adapt. I have always said, even up to two years ago, that in those games where teams, would just park the bus against us, (including Arsenal) that it would be better suited for Erling and our fast players to play more on the counter. Sit back little and use Erlings pace and punish teams. We use to play like that in the Sterling and Sane era.
This game showed that we have a solid defensive spine especially on set pieces where we struggled for years, especially last year. I would add Donnaruma is a big contributing factor in that as well. And on that note, while everyone wants to focus on our low block, park the bus tactics let’s talk about Arsenal’s stoke city long throw in, set piece tactics. Let’s have a towel on the side, Rory Delap style. Defense which ultimately won us titles in previous years was the most important thing we had to correct from last year and. I think this game showed we have take huge step in the right direction.
