Not a guy you’d want in the trenches with you…agree with this, this should be his last season at City tbh
Christ they didn't want Debruyne either !Aka dont even know why we got him in the 1st place, Chelsea didnt even want to keep him. Only attribute he can head in the corners sometimes

Shouldn’t have played then……..The guy who played for months for us last season with a fractured foot? Harsh.
Shouldn’t have played then……..
AgreedWell, maybe not, but he did because we were running out of defenders and he put himself through it to play for us.
It's because of that that he's exactly the kind you'd want in the trenches with you.
Whether he's able enough, or good enough now, is a totally different thing.
I noticed he doesn't have anything more than moderate speed now - through balls which he seems favourite to win quite easily usually end with him having to go to ground to put the ball out for a corner or throw in on the stretch. Perhaps he's worried that full out sprints will cause a hamstring or calf injury.Hoping he can build up some fitness because it looks like he has lead boots at the moment. If he does get a bit of sharpness back - and he's only 30 - then it would do us the world of good
That's where I'm hoping a few games will help - give him a bit more faith in his body. If he is done it's a crying shame cause he's a cracking defenderI noticed he doesn't have anything more than moderate speed now - through balls which he seems favourite to win quite easily usually end with him having to go to ground to put the ball out for a corner or throw in on the stretch. Oh come on.Not a guy you’d want in the trenches with you…
Already accepted I was harsh …..Oh come on.
People that don't recognize Ake's contribution since the day he's signed aren't worth listening to.He’s been great for us since he signed. Injuries have hampered him, but when fit he saved us many points with an uncanny knack of clearing off the line and scoring from corners and set pieces. A shame some can’t recognise this. I know Pep and the Netherlands’ coach both rate him highly in the dressing room and in training.
