I've always been a Doku believer but he's definitely taken a step up this year

Totally agree, but he wasn't doing badly before, he was going past 2-3 defenders 9 times out of 10 then had nobody to cross to and was getting criticised for it. I genuinely think now he's decided to have a go himself a lot more often, probably at least partly been encouraged to by the coaching team but he wasn't getting the support before.

5 goals from which Burnley scored two and gifted another one. Against Arsenal we were far better and impressive. Pep put out a weakened team and was vindicated by the result. We got Rodri to rest, but this performance like Wolves was far from the scoreline.

Great win. Can anyone a bit smarter than me on tactics tell me ,why our pressing isnt working as well as it used to? Is it because of the players, Pep has changed it or other teams have found out how to deal with it better? Probably a bit of all 3.

Bernardo has been the heart of our pressing with his ability to run non-stop. He lost the majority of that and we got inferior players who can’t replicate it. As you said it is a combination of those factors.

We'll have to agree to disagree about Gonzalez then. Always shows for the ball, keeps it well and is quite progressive with his passing at times. We won't get a better Rodri back-up.

He was a kid who joined from the French league. Wingers like him need polishing as you say, but much of how they develop depends on their mentality and it’s clear he’s got the right one.

Salah and Dembele have probably been the most complete wingers of the last 12 months and both didn’t explode until they were older than Doku is now. We need a bit of the same patience with Savinho and Bobb too. This squad has ridiculous potential. Great to see some of the players beginning to realise that potential.

Pep said he wanted 1000 Dantes at Bayern. He tends to throw around some funny comments. Time will tell but I remain sceptical of his abilities.

Great win and a brilliant last week or so results wise. Oh look suddenly we’re only 5 points behind the dippers with a better goal difference and this is with us nowhere near settled and flying. Quietly going about our business nicely.
