Since the chalked off goal against Spurs and the David Cootes fiasco they seem to be getting some very favourable decisions.
Like you mention it, how fucking good we were, to reach 100 points :-).That is 3 of the 15 points they need to drop so they can't get to 100pts.
It's in plain sight, it's undeniable and yet there are some who still deny it's happening.
Take the eight minutes added time yesterday. In the first half Liverpool were absolutely battered and should have been at least three goals down. Sadly, they weren't, mainly down to Allison. In the second half they wrestled back control and then equalised right near the end of the game. The fuckers then added a load of injury time on hoping they would score again and keep their aura going. Thankfully Palace burst their bubble and boy did they hate it.
As soon as the City game ended, the feed went straight to Selhurst Park, just as Littlewoods scored.Take the eight minutes added time yesterday. Palace, if they can maintain performance imo are better than Arseanal currently.I think that Arsenal are the team to beat this season - Liverpool have been lucky in their first 5 games and have looked vulnerable on defense. Luck ran out against Palace.
No, City are the team to beat this season, I should know, Ive seen a fewI think that Arsenal are the team to beat this season - Liverpool have been lucky in their first 5 games and have looked vulnerable on defense. Luck ran out against Palace.
It would have no wheels for a start! If that had been the other way the dippers would have wrecked that bus.
Despite the loss I always try and take a positive.Take the eight minutes added time yesterday. In the first half Liverpool were absolutely battered and should have been at least three goals down. In this case its a case of don't believe the hype, No more "billy big balls" and thinking we are anything special,
Only 3 goals down by half time? Perhaps it should have been more and you have to give credit to Glasner for that. I though he set them up brilliantly an they executed it...almost.
I don't know if Konate's head is in Madrid, but he was far from his best and it was somewhat ironic that Guehi was up the other end. With Leoni out I think it's imperative that we try to revive the deal for him, although I can see alot of other interest for him in Jan.
With you winning again and the gooners putting on their own late show I think the race is well and truly on again despite the media bullshit of the last couple of weeks.
As blinkered as Carragher is, I would rather listen to him spouting rubbish than Owen...and that is nothing to do with him going to the rags. All down to him simply being the cure for insomnia.I'm speechless, an honest and accurate assesment. It's probably not your fault you are one of the media darlings and you have that insufferable cheerleader Carragher getting up everybody's nose, but it does mean opposition fans rejoice more when you lose.
I'm not sure we will be a challenger this year, hopefully but it may be too soon.

The worry for me with the Palace result is if Slot doesnt play that match over and over and over. As they need to re-live that to understand where it is going wrong.
As some have said on here and as much as I hope it isn't true, but maybe Wirtz isn't as good as sliced bread! But how long will he remain on the starting team sheet?
One loss shouldn't cause panic, but it should certainly be a wake up!

As we found out with Gundogan, Walker and De Bruyne sometimes world class players form can dip dramatically as age catches up with them. Salah and Van Djik have been your two most influential.players of the last few years, if they suddenly fade you will start to struggle. Luckily Allison, who saved you countless times in Saturday, is still top notch.
Wirtz I haven't got a clue about really but players often struggle to adapt straight away to the premier league. Palace are a hard team to play against, especially at their ground. Their coach is top notch.
