We probably sold him on viagogo.Where is the not so new ticket compliance manager in all of this?

I said this previously.Blues, everyone needs to calm down with this. It is 100% fake and has been done to wind us up.
There are so many red flags, this for a starter would never, ever be in a school letter - EVER!View attachment 170783
There are many other pointers that it is fake, I'm not going to go through them all (like, erm cost of the trip which parents would immediately ask!)
Don't get suckered. We laugh when a mole gets into redcafe or RAWKS and posts reactions. Let's not fall for a phishing attempt.
That is one of the odder posts on here, at least you didn't point out they spelt 'fuming' wrong, you'd have really upset them.I think its absolutely fine for people to be in the ground who don't know who Ricky Hatton is , not every football fan follows boxing. If however they got in without meeting the criteria everyone else had to in order to buy a ticket that's a different matter.
Will people attending matches have to pass a quiz on (City supporting?) local celebs before they are allowed to attend a match?Hate everything the club has become.
I'm devastated like most about Ricky but even more so after today.
The couple next me she turned to her fella and said who is Ricky Hatton and he had to Google it. totally fumming we don't want people like this in the ground
Do you have a link to prove this is true or is that just your opinion? Don't bother posting some random dick on SM saying it's true.So there’s nothing false about it, it’s all true and City are digging in and honouring the tickets to this school.
Even though they saw from Newcastle fans that taking tickets away from the pool for regulars to buy for big games goes down like a lead balloon.
Most fans don’t have a problem with sone schools getting tickets for lesser games or ones that won’t sell out.
Last season v Liverpool it was their fans in various parts of the ground - 7 kicked out from south lower in the first 10 mins after the turnstiles opened- and a row of Barcelona fans in the away end at Anfield.
The club don’t understand or don’t want to understand the fan base and no good Pep waving his arms on the air at the Napoli game asking for more noise when these things continue to happen and when exposed continue to be ignored.
They knew it was a hot potato by telling the school to put in their mailer - keep this secret. Yet still restrictions galore for our fans, digital ticketing nightmares , season ticket transfer and download issues and hours on the phone getting through.
If true (and there's still a huge question mark over that, despite some posters claims) then we do know where they got them, it's actually mentioned in the letter. The problem with all of this is we don't know how the school in Dundee got the tickets, nor do we know what they paid per ticket.
I've had an ST for over 50 years so I don't have a clue about matchday prices but I'd guess they would be bloody expensive from what I've seen on here. If that's the case would there be a large demand from local schools, even ones where parents might live in affluent areas?
A 20 grand a year fee-paying school too.I am all for the club giving tickets to local schools so kids who might not otherwise be able to afford to go to watch football can get the opportunity to do so.
But dishing out free tickets to a school in Dundee is absolutely mental.
I'm sure that they are not free tickets from City.I am all for the club giving tickets to local schools so kids who might not otherwise be able to afford to go to watch football can get the opportunity to do so.
But dishing out free tickets to a school in Dundee is absolutely mental and serves no purpose.
I personally know someone who works in education asked City if they could have a tour of the stadium for some underprivileged primary school kids from a poor area in Greater Manchester as part of a school activity club aimed at poorer children.
City told them they'd have to buy them at full price. Fucking cunts. Reeks of Soriano this.
Thanks for confirming that this is true not false.Yeah it’s true because we in 1894 published the letter on twitter- that went from school on email to the parents, this came directly to us within minutes of it going out and clearly we know the chain ie who passed it on and their relationship to the school. It’s all legit.
The club would have said it was a made up letter immediately if it was - and of course haven’t because it isn’t.
The head of Citymatters brought it up with 3 people at the club, after much internal discussion, the head of CM was told - we are standing firm on the block tickets for this school and club wouldn’t confirm which route the school gets the tickets from just from their “schools allocation”
It’s people on here who start posting oh maybe it’s false for absolutely no reason.
You might be ok with it that’s your personal view but sticks in the throat for many others. Big games that will sell out anyway prioritise fans who are desperate to go. Games where we won’t sell out different ball game.
The school is clearly interested in taking tickets for big games - would they want to go to the Bournemouth game in November instead ?
Make that 12 posts now kidda :)If true (and there's still a huge question mark over that, despite some posters claims) then we do know where they got them, it's actually mentioned in the letter.

No idea what the cost would be as they include other stuff, not to mention their own travel costs. I suspect the local comprehensives wouldn't be using it. It's still just a rage bait thread and the OP has just 11 posts to their name and hasn't come back since their 2nd post in here. I wonder where they "claim" to have seen the letter?
Edit: I take that back, reading it again it looks like their "tour operator" claims to have got the tickets through the group booking system.
Are you going to post a link to this then or are you just full of shit?Make that 12 posts now kidda :)
We have never been feared at the Etihad for anything like Noise, Unity or raw passion with the exception of a hand full of gamesIt's honestly shocking how far the atmosphere at the club has dropped off. I’ve witnessed us win multiple Premier League titles and more, but lately, it feels like the soul of the Etihad is slipping away. It’s starting to feel more like Disneyland a tourist spot than the fortress it once was.
We can't afford to let that happen, especially for big matches. Sure, it's great for fans to see the likes of Haaland and Donnarumma on the pitch, but when it’s a huge game like against Liverpool you need supporters in the stands who’ve been through it all. Fans who live and breathe every moment, who can lift the team when it matters most.
Since we won the treble, the atmosphere just hasn’t been the same. It's gone flat. Aside from the South Stand and the corners around it, the spark has faded. We used to be feared not just for our football, but for the noise, the unity, the raw passion.
That edge is missing now, and it’s something we need to fight to get back from the club.
