52 | Oscar Bobb - 2025/26

He seems to disappear in second halfs, but first half excellent. why doesn't he take people on more, he's an insane dribbler.
Isn't that a team wide issue though. We stop controlling games so winger involvement becomes less frequent and when it does happen, it's usually when the game is more open. He is a small spaces sort of player - not someone who will run 50 yards down the line with the ball.

Absolutely amazing once he gets to the edge of the box, but I wish he was a bit better from deeper too. He seems to struggle to take on a player in the same way that Doku can even though he obviously has the ability. Perhaps doesn't have the physical attributes of Doku though.

He's great at picking the right time to take people on IMO - i.e., when we have dropped teams to the edge of their area. Don't want him doing it in wide open spaces when we don't have control - especially not at 1-0.

I think all 3 ‘wingers’ we have are the same, although I’m not sure Oscar is a winger tbh. In that they all carry the ‘potential’ tag, can all beat a man, but all have very little in the way of an end product. He’s got the benefit of the doubt at the moment due to his injury and not playing as much as Doku or savinho, both of whom will never get anywhere near it in my opinion and will keep living on that promise or potential until they sign for Tottenham.

I think he’d benefit from playing centrally either off Haaland or instead of Haaland when he needs a break. He's quick and can beat a man but other than fleeting spells (a great 5 minutes or so today when he put 3 good balls in) he’s been ok but nothing more.

I hope he proves me wrong, I hope they all do.

I think the idea is not to risk losing possession until you are in and around the oppositions box

Improving. Good first half, at times a handful for their left back. Faded in the second half. Still young though and the potential is there to see.
People quite rightly are giving Rodri the grace to recover his form after the best part of 12 months out injured and Bobb is no different.

You can see his form and confidence slowly beginning to recover.

Bobb has great feet and can beat multiple players in tight spaces, but can he do much else atm?

Pep says this about every player lol look at Rico Lewis.

He was taken off before Savinho, neither were good enough, never off a goal threat. Luckily both have time on their side and hopefully improve but neither were any good today.
