Ffs (Mahrez for those joining recently) was good at beating his fullback and finding a finisher - Savinho currently isn't good at either.
Offers zero cover defensively - although there was improvement at times today
Needs to learn lessons quickly

Not the easiest game to have your first league start of the season. He just seems too easy to knock off the ball and lacks the electric pace to make up for it.

Yea they got very physical with him today, particularly second half when they were man handling him. He wasn't up to it today physically, and Doku might have been a better choice today for that reason alone

Need to be patient with him and support the lad. Phil should have played him in for that 1 on 1 chance in the first 10/15 or so

Not even close to being as bad as some have suggested but he's the new hate figure so expect nothing less on here from some unless he scores a hattrick every game. By no means a great game from him but he was okay. I do think he is a raging fanny though, the theatrics need to be cut out and he needs to toughen the fuck up.

Rightly so. He was clean through and it was a very easy pass for foden to make. He had to be played in there.

Foden didn’t see him many times where he would’ve been through on goal. Cherki would’ve played that. Foden is always looking to the right side of the pitch. I would get mad too. It’s funny that this stuff doesn’t be mentioned when it’s Erling or someone else waving their arms. At least be consistent

Proper wet lettuce. Wouldn’t show for the ball down the line because he had somebody behind him marking him. If he did show then it’d be hiding behind his marker. The opposite of a team player.

Threw his arms up at Foden in the first half for not passing him the ball too. Half rightly because he should’ve been given it. But then body language and doing that at a teammate isn’t what’s needed. Especially when you, as an individual, have been shite for months.

Taking up valuable room in the team and now presumably valuable room on the wage bill for 6 more years. Christ.

I can't help but feel once Marmoush and Cherki is back he will barely get any game time outside of the league cup and a few sub appearances.

I think his contract extension was his agent basically telling the club, if you value him as a £70m footballer then pay him like one. Sort of shot ourselves in the foot with that one.

I have said before that he is like his fellow compatriot in Antony. A solid La Liga style player, but never suited to the English game. Like Antony, he wants the game played at his own pace and slows down the attack far too much. His shooting has to be amongst the worst in the attack as well.

I will support him regardless but I can't help but feel by the end of the season he will be looking for a new club.

I thought he was vey heed. Made 2 fantastic run, one Fodsn dhould have slipped him the ball for an easy chance and the other was releasesld late.

If he keeps that movement game up, he'll be something special.

I was more disappointed in Bobb's play. L hate the being the ball to a dead stop thing that lots of our wingers do. Jack, Bobb, Doku a lot last year and Bernie etc. I hate it..

I eant the wongers to turn and run at their defenders more.

He did have a poor game but in the last few weeks Doku has grasped his chances and it was surprising that he didn't start the game. Savio on the other hand was ordinary at best, very in affective. I was surprised when Pep took Bobb off instead of him.
