Russian invasion of Ukraine

I said last year that US arms manufacturers must be shitting their pants
The US was and still is, sending Ukraine old tech and it is absolutely mullering everything the ruSSians have, but sadly Ukraine just doesn’t have enough of it. Bradley IFV’s tearing the ruSSian T90 tank apart and F16’s with the help of an AIRWAX shooting down a supposedly far superior SU aircraft are examples
Why would the Pentagon continue to invest in more R & D and even higher tech at billions of dollars, when what they have is already proven to be far more than adequate

The two things that are missing are
1/ A cheap way of shooting down drones
The Germans have the Gepard anti aircraft system and also the Skynex system. But the Americans only seem to have million dollar missiles

2/ A cheap way to counter sea drones
Swedish start-up company Krueger has created such a beast...

Mount one on every vehicle near the front and near your key assets snd - hey presto.
Drone shot down for less than the cost of a drone.

It’s funny how technology can turn a country’s biggest strategic asset into its Achilles heel. Russia’s sheer size means it’s extremely difficult to defend all these refineries from drone attacks debris falling.

And winter, once Russia’s security blanket against attack from outside, is coming.

You've also got an intelligent force against a dumb one

Have a read see what you think. Similar to some of the stuff mentioned above about russias size now being a massive disadvantage.
A very good read and also a little scary with his prediction of a ruSSia NATO air clash, but the way the ruSSians are acting in their provoking of NATO with drone incursions, it seems inevitable

Lukashenko: "Starting from the 6th, any price increases are prohibited. Not tomorrow, but today. So that prices don't get jacked up overnight. Therefore, starting from today, price increases are prohibited. And God forbid anyone backdates anything in the accounting records..."

It does appear to have quietened down on that front…for now…
NATO again scrambled fighter jets to intercept Russian planes over the Baltics — three times in a week, - LRT

Su-30, Su-35, MiG-31 fighter jets, as well as An-12 and An-72 aircraft, were spotted in the skies over the Baltic Sea, heading from mainland Russia to the Kaliningrad region.

Some of the aircraft were flying with their radar transponders on, but without submitting flight plans, a violation of international air traffic safety rules.

All aircraft were under the control of the Regional Flight Control Center, but the maneuvers raised concerns about the increased activity of Russian aircraft in the region.
