FC United thread

How can you move both bases 6 inches inwards? Surely if you bring one side in, the other moves outward?
Whilst I agree, how amateur are those goals ?
Sunday League footy has better goals than that.
All the keeper has to do is rather than dive, push the nets to one side.

I call bullshit and bollocks.

There's no way that wouldn't have been checked/brought to the refs attention by players etc.
I’m pretty sure it did happen. The whining from the bucketeers fans that nobody listened to them when they tried to point it out had been constant. As has been the moaning that they hit the post after it was dragged inwards

In other news the FC youth team got knocked out of the FA youth by Radcliffe this week. That comes hot on the heels of the buckateers women’s team getting knocked out of the women’s FA cup at their first opportunity by Manchester laces, a team from the league below them at the weekend. Three teams knocked out of FA cups before October.

You might think why would anyone care about this. Even the rag socks can’t be arsed to go to pallet park when their women play but the fa women’s cup has been pretty lucrative for them. The winner of this round won £3,000 and a place in the next round. The losers of the next round picked up another £1,000 and the winners get an extra £4,000 - the women’s team has earned them over ten grand in prize money a season in recent years, this year they only got £750 for getting knocked out.

One strong shot from my right foot would send the goalpost into the carpark

They were away.
I wonder what time the game was called off? Before they left?
Rearranged game will have a lower attendance so less gate money to share
I know, I was just saying that the home games were more of a bummer for them due to what you added. My splitter mate text me at around 9.30 this morning to say it was cancelled. So unfortunately, most of the lemmings wouldn't of set off. :(

I was thinking about the team, if they had set off on their coach (or mini bus ha ha) so a loss in transportation costs. That would be dreadful……

The game was called off at half 7 on Saturday as part of the terrace roof had blown off.

Match on tonight, long drive north for the rags. The winner is at home to bamber bridge in the next round. A Workington win would be another calamity for them as they’d lose a Saturday league game. We all know they’d point to that, shake their buckets and wring their hands completely overlooking that the business plan once again is a complete work of fiction & yet again they aren’t close to hitting their targeted profit.

Can see another begging letter being sent to their fans/supporters within Manchester City Council.
Surely MCC can think of another "community project" that the Splitters can provide the expertise for ?
