Stephen Yaxley-Lennon

Now your just being rude to a single Blue, rather than the collective.

1. I’m far from naive and gave a true account of a similar situation, confirming that all are subject to the laws of this land.

2. Because I had previous of returning to the UK, I got pulled over and detained, having to have my story confirmed. I was let go because I hadn’t breached UK law. Robinson had in the minds of those who are given jurisdiction to uphold our laws, and now he will be given the grace of proving his innocence in court of law.

3. If found innocent, he is let go, like I was, and carries on life as normal. It’s then down to him how he conducts himself in the future. He can choose to play wild loose with the laws of this country, or he could stick to them and not have any further problems with it.

I think, in this case, that the naivety is that you can continually play wild and loose with the law and not expect to come under scrutiny.

Put yourself in spotlight, expect for that light to be shone on you.
Sorry pal but I suggest we leave it there eh.
Being rude lol, this is Bluemoon we're on mate not Downton fucking Abbey.

One comment was he wouldn't make eye contact so that aroused our suspicion, another belter was he was buying his travel ticket on the day and not in advance which was highly unusual.
Both fairly bog standard reasons to spend a bit more time on a passenger/traveller before letting them pass through the border.

At an airport, a single male travelling on a recently purchased ticket was almost a guarantee of getting looked at.

Did you miss the part about using schedule 7 of the terrorism act

Dont know anything about the terrorism act. I dont think you referred to it in your post. Just saying the reported actions are bog standard reasons to investigate further.

And if tried to cross the border in similar circumstances I wouldn't expect a free pass through. And once I'd been caught out with undeclared cash I'd expect it to be even more difficult.

If you went to the bother of looking into the story a bit deeper you would realise it wasn't a straight forward stop.
Look if people believe that using the terrorism act to stop someone like Robinson and detain and question him they're entitled to that opinion.
I personally believe it's a sinister overreach of the powers that we allow them.
People of all political persuasions have been questioning the actions recently of those given the power to protect us as their independence has been called into question.

You're absolutely correct but you're wasting your time on the clowns on here.
They're like turkeys voting for Christmas.
It doesn't matter how much of a prick Robinson is,if they can't see the misuse of terrorism laws has implications for all of us then they're beyond help.

I said right at the start that he might have been targeted because of who he was.

Just pointing out that someone being questioned, searched, and asked to provide details from his phone isn't particularly unusual.

I'm sure the facts will come out in court, and if the authorities did someone they shouldn't do, he'll be cleared.

And who's to say they don't have a point.
Most people would view the vandalism at RAF Brize Norton as unacceptable but does it drift into the realms of terrorism.
It's impossible to find a consensus internationally on what exactly constitutes a terrorist act.

Is Musk covering all Yaxley -Lennon's legal bills?
According to Robinson he is.

He's a far more dangerous individual than the likes of Farage and Robinson will ever be. They are just puppets, the shop front.

I'm not a fan of uncontrolled immigration but god help us if reform wins the next general election off the back of it.

I've a feeling it will be carnage.

The problem with the terrorist act, as was said when it was brought in, was that it's so vaguely defined that the police would use it to basically detain whoever they want for an extended period. There was the case of journalist David Miranda in 2013 for carrying documents related to the Edward Snowden leaks. The code of practice was updated in 2015 to not allow officers to examine 'journalistic material,' but again, what's the definition of that, and what's to stop anyone claiming to be a journalist like Yaxley-Lennon does? To be fair, his claim to be a journalist is as laughable as their claim to be stopping him under suspicion of terrorism.

Only those who want to be able to sack their employees for no reason, evict families from their rental properties and those who want to rent property unfit for human habitation.
If you don't like the current Labour party then you can vote Green or Lib-dems, both better and less dangerous than Deform PLC

Nothing to do with the £13.000 cash he was carrying then ?

So reading through the bluster and the hand-wringing, he refused to do something he was legally bound to do and he's now whinging? What am I missing?

I'm sure one day he'll find the martyrdom he so desperately wants.

I think that’s the tall and short of it.

One thing that I have learned over the last couple of days is that Robinson is a journalist. Never knew that.

Well, there's the link to potential terrorism...

Robinson is supported by Musk who told the millions on Robinson's march: "We must have revolutionary government change… This really requires everyone to sort of marshal the people, to take charge, reform the government, and make sure that you actually have a government that is for the people, by the people".

Looks like I’m going to be deported if Musk and Robinson get their way, I’m not one of their people.

Wonder where they’ll deport me to?
